🎀 February Ladies Book Meetup: The Prophet by Khalil Gibran
Queens, circle up! It’s time to crown our February special read ✨
Say not, “I have found the truth,” but rather, “I have found a truth.”
Say not, “I have found the path of the soul.” Say rather, “I have met the soul walking upon my path.” For the soul walks upon all paths. The soul walks not upon a line, neither does it grow like a reed. The soul unfolds itself, like a lotus of countless petals
As our monthly meeting coincides with Ramadan, we’ve chosen to slow down and honor this gentle unfolding of the soul. Rather than rushing toward certainty we gather to pause, to reflect, to search, to feel, and to understand and trust that each heart blooms in its own time and in its own way ✨
This month, we’ll be reading *Khalil Gibran’s The Prophet* a timeless poetry classic filled with tender reflections on love, faith, loss, joy, and becoming. A book to sit with slowly… one that quietly trickles down
What to bring?
• your open hearts
Wishing you a pleasant day filled with ease and light. Stay safe ❤️

February Book Club Meetup
Welcome, readers!
Our February read is **_1984 by George Orwell._**
In 1984, George Orwell imagines a world where the government watches everyone, rewrites reality, and punishes even private thoughts. Winston Smith dares to question this system, believing that truth and love might still exist. His rebellion draws him into a chilling struggle against a power that knows him better than he knows himself. The novel leaves readers asking whether freedom is possible when reality itself can be controlled.
Looking forward to discussing with everyone!
We will meet at Zaftig Brewing Co in their event room in the back. We are welcome to bring in our own food, but **drinks must be purchased at the bar.**
Happy reading!

A bog can serve the same functions as a traditional rain garden but has the advantages of being low maintenance, climate resilient and attractive for a much longer part of the year.
David Marsolo is a long time Wild Ones member. He has been maintaining artificial bogs at his suburban Westerville home for about 20 years. He will describe how to install a bog and fill it with many interesting native plants including pollinator and host plants
