The plan is to canoe some 12km/8 miles from the small town of Zbečno in the protected landscape area **Křivoklátsko**. The route is suitable for beginners. *You can join even if you haven’t canoed before as long as you can swim. You should also be somewhat physically coordinated and have patience to learn a new motor skill!* I’m **not** a certified instructor however, I have taught countless people the basics of canoeing. LOGISTICS We will meet on Saturday 20th of June at **8:30** in front of the main ticket office at the Prague Main Railway Station. We’ll be aiming to be back in Prague by **19:00**. However, we will be as fast as the slowest members of our group and an unexpected delay is possible. Let's hike & swim! The weekend is supposed to be pretty...warm, so there is no better way to spend the time than in a cooler place - in the mountains where we can expect around 25°C, and finish a relaxed pace hike with cooling down - in the beautiful, clean, natural peaty water. PLEASE TAKE FOOD and MAINLY ENOUGH WATER with you for the whole day. There is nothing in the mountains! DO NOT FORGET YOUR SWIMSUIT (unless you plan to use the naturist beach ;-)) We will meet at the Praha - Černý Most bus station - platform 6. The bus station is actually below the metro line so you have to take the first stairs down. Platform 6 should be right here where you see the yellow RegioJet bus. But indeed there is an ascending part so a decent condition is surely required. You can check the elevation profile when you click on the map. I've made the trail 14 km long so it's not too tough, we don't have to rush, and have more time to enjoy the lake. We will have to walk a few more km for the bus, but only after we have taken a dip and refreshed! This event is free of charge (you just need money for bus tickets and train (around 300-350 CZK), but any **contribution for organizing and to cover the subscription fees is more than welcome** (100+ CZK is recommended, but it's totally up to you how much you think the trip was worth, your financial possibilities etc.). Let's play badminton at Sports Centre Olšanka. We'll meet at 10.40 and play for 60 minutes. If you have a Multisport card please bring it along, as it will make the court free for you and also reduce the cost for others. If you don't have a Multisport card the game will cost you a maximum of 150 crowns, probably much less. I will cover the cost of the court so please bring cash to pay me. There is a small organisation fee of 20 crowns for all players to participate in this event. Racquets can be rented for 50 crowns.

**The friendliest human pretzel making on a Sunday morning 🥨🥰** We gather at 10:00 AM for a quick warmup (everyone on their own) and then start the timer with 5-minute rounds and 30-60s rests. About 90% of people roll No-Gi. If you want to bring your Gi, make sure to reach out to someone to coordinate before you arrive. ✅ **No experience needed** → Ask someone to show you around. It is up to them if they will (this is not a formal class, but the vibe is always friendly!) 🥋 ✅ **No structure** → Roll every round, drill techniques, or just sit out and watch. 🤼 ✅ **No partner needed** → We rotate! Some trained COUNT volunteers work together once a month at RMH (http://www.rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer.php) as Housewarmers (usually on the 1st Sunday from 1 – 5 PM). Some schedule other shifts at their convenience. You may try this out with less fuss by following a "Fast track" or go through the normal process. Fast track • Arrange a time to shadow a COUNT volunteer. Call Dave Nohle at 614-268-9558 (cell). • Show up and try it out. • Complete application, etc. later. Normal process • Complete an online application (http://rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer/). • Attend orientation in advance. • At orientation you will complete forms agreeing to keep family/patient info private and allowing a background check and tour the facility. • Complete one training shift. Daily shifts are: morning 9 AM - 1 PM, afternoon 1 - 5 PM and evening 5 - 9 PM. • Schedule shifts online using the on the RMH scheduling system (http://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/?FROM=32895). The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) provides housing and meals for families with sick children. The Columbus RMH is the largest in the world with 137 rooms. COUNT has been volunteering there since May 2014. Housewarmers work with RMH guests to provide a home-like environment - greet, assist with family needs, answer phones, give tours, assist with checkin/checkout, prepare guest rooms after checkout, clean facility, laundry, restock supplies and staff the front desk. RMH Housewarmers volunteer at least one four-hour shift a month. All Housewarmers must complete an application and agree to a background check before they can be full fledged volunteers.

We have a great little community of Movie Group friends so rather than see a movie this time, we’ll help “Create a better world” by helping serve those in need. For this event, our group will help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents in the dining room, wash dishes, and clean surfaces. PLAN: We will be preparing / serving / cleaning for DINNER from 4:30 to 6:30pm and have space for a total of 7 volunteers. Please arrive at 4:20pm and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.
