**Co-working for writers in Amager!**
Join us for an hour of focused writing time. All writers and all experience levels are welcome and donât worry, no one will see what you've written. This session is about getting your writing done and meeting other writers in the area.
We meet in this lovely spacious cafĂŠ, chilled out, usually not very busy at this time, with an on-site bakery of delicious pastries. Once everyone is here and settled, I will lead a quick introduction, and then set the timer for our quiet and focused writing session.
After the hour is up feel free to chat / take off / keep writing if you're on a roll. We often talk about our successes and challenges as writers, and it can be a great way to learn from eachother.
**A note about the format**
We donât host critiques or readings. These events are a safe space for writers of all skill levels and genres to work on their craft, so no one will read or critique your writing.

Beyond Perimeter Security: Confidential Containers and Encryption at Rest
Join us for the January 2026 edition of **Cloud Native Copenhagen**, kindly hosted once again by **DR**.
This meetup focuses on one of the most pressing challenges in modern Kubernetes platforms: **how to properly secure sensitive workloads and cluster data in cloud-native environments**.
**Agenda**
16:30 Doors open, find a seat, network, enjoy
17:00 Welcome by the Cloud Native Copenhagen
17:05 Welcome by Danmarks Radio
17:15 Talk 1 - Unlocking Confidential Computing: An Introduction to Confidential Containers in Kubernetes
18:00 Break with food and drinks
18:45 Talk 2 - Talos KMS: Getting the Russian Doll out of your Cluster
19:30 Snacks, networking
20:00 Thank you for today
Talk 1: **Unlocking Confidential Computing: An Introduction to Confidential Containers in Kubernetes**
Speaker: Nino Martinez Wael from TDC Erhverv
As organizations increasingly move sensitive workloads to the cloud, ensuring data confidentiality during execution has become a critical challenge. Confidential Containers (CoCo), a CNCF sandbox project, addresses this by integrating confidential computing principles into the cloud-native ecosystem. Leveraging Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) and hardware-backed security technologies such as Intel TDX, AMD SEV-SNP, and IBM Secure Execution, CoCo enables Kubernetes users to run containerized applications in isolated, attested environmentsâwith few modifications to existing workflows.
In this session, weâll explore: What is Confidential Computing and why it matters? The architecture and trust model behind Confidential Containers.
Key features: attestation, pod-centric design, and integration with Kata Containers. Use cases across regulated industries, AI/ML workloads, and multi-tenant environments. A look at the ecosystem and roadmap, and how you can get started. Whether youâre a platform engineer, security architect, or cloud-native enthusiast, this talk will demystify confidential computing and show how CoCo brings stronger guarantees of data confidentiality, integrity, and code integrity to Kubernetes.
Talk 2: **Talos KMS: Getting the Russian Doll out of your Cluster**
Speaker: Anders Lantz from Eficode
While Talos Linux provides robust security tools, features such as disk encryption are not enabled by default. Furthermore, the commonly used encryption settings often give a false sense of safety while leaving critical data exposed to attackers. In this session, we will have a brief overview of the Talos storage layout and then dig into the encryption functionality it offers. We will then examine why standard encryption methods often just "kick the problem down the road" and demonstrate a solution to truly secure your clusters storage.

Coffee Talk
Fulfillment. Joy. â Do you know what it is? Do you feel it now?
Many of us are living lives that have âjust sort of happenedâ. We had a dream, a vision (maybe we still do) for what we wanted our lives to look like. Somewhere along the way, life took over and something else ended up happening. We made decisions, took a turn down a path, and now our life isnât what we thought it would be.
Or weâre living someone elseâs life. Maybe itâs what our parentâs wanted for us. What we believe our partner or a potential partner might want. Or maybe itâs what we believe we need to do and have to be happy. I was one of these people. My life checked all the boxes for what I thought I needed in order to be happy. And still, I wasnât.
Join me for a coffee talk on what it means to live a Life By Design. Where your choices are deliberate and based on your authentic, true self. What you have to let go off to achieve this (hint: the notion that vulnerability is a weakness and feelings of fear and guilt) and who you will become in the process.
Tuesday Foodclub
We are a group of people meeting on Tuesdays to socialize around cooking and eating together. Usually around 40-50 people. Many are international students, but also other people join. The foodclub exist independent of Meetup, we invite you because we have room for a few more people.
The food is vegan and made from donated leftover veggies from a local greengrocery.
The place has originally hosted leftwing activist groups, and many of the people joining are also involved in political groups.
If you want to join for chopping and cooking, we will be doing that from 3 to 6 pm. It is possible to join part of the time.
From 6 to 8pm we are serving food. Donation around 30 kroner. If you are helping out some hours, chopping, cooking or cleaning, you can eat for free.
From 8 to 9 - 9:30 pm we are cleaning up the place.
We hope to see you in our lovely foodclub <3

Self-Love: Confidence Through Expression
Confidence can be cultivated in many waysâthrough reflection, conversation, creativity, and practice. In this Confidence Lab session, weâll explore one powerful pathway: **building confidence from the inside out through physical expression and movement**.
This experience is designed to help you reconnect with your body as a source of insight, self-trust, and presence. Weâll begin by grounding into whatâs bringing you here, creating space to notice how your body is showing up and what itâs holding. From there, youâll be guided through accessible movement exercises that invite awareness and choiceâisolating different parts of the body, experimenting with movement, and practicing what it feels like to take up space intentionally.
Next, youâll participate in a small-group dance lesson led in a supportive, low-pressure environment. No dance experience is needed. The focus is not on performance or perfection, but on expression, curiosity, and allowing yourself to move with confidence as you are.
Weâll close with a reflective group discussion, exploring what emerged during the experience and how these insights can be applied beyond the studioâhow you inhabit your body, how you carry yourself, and how you show up in everyday life.
**What to know:**
* Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you feel good moving in
* No dance experience required
* Light snacks and beverages will be provided
This session is for anyone interested in deepening their relationship with confidence by listening to their body, expanding their capacity for self-expression, and practicing self-love as an embodied experience.
