Hi 🙋‍♂️ we will meet at 7pm at ‘the Sails’ sculpture. We will walk along the seafront prom to the wooden bridge and back & stop for a drink & chat in the Yacht pub. To get to the walk start from town:- Clontarf dart station is just a short walk away. Or there are lots of bus stops close by too. Adult Bachata and Salsa dance classes with practice social at Coolock Ardlea Scout Den Coolock Village. This is a mirror studio located upstairs from the hall with nice wooden floors. This is a weekly Thursday event. Come down, learn and have fun! Men and Women are welcome. Free taster for first timers and discount for students, request via dm. This tour will cover the history of Michael Collins. The 1922 handover as it really happened, Collins roles as soldier and spy, his involvement in the 1916 Easter Rising, his internment at Frongoch the Anglo-Irish Treaty negotiations, the War of Independance, the Dublin Castle spy network the Squad and other key events like Bloody Sunday and the murder of McKee, Clancy, and Clune. Come join me in cleaning up litter at Dillon's Park in Dalkey. I will supply a cart, bags/buckets, litter grabbers, and occasionally a dog (for morale). Feel free to bring your own equipment if you have it. Here's the plan: 1. Meet at the park entrance 2. Collect litter around the park. 3. Circle back to the starting point when finished. Note that we will walk in wet grass/mud on occasion and will be handling litter, so best to wear appropriate clothes, footwear and gloves. Please check weather before attending to ensure you're dressed for it. Feel free to drop in or out at whatever time suits you. I'm typically out for an hour or two or until the area I'm focused on has been cleaned. Feel free to message me with any questions.

***Join us on a history-focused walking tour of Dun Laoghaire and Sandycove!*** Hello! My name is Marina Boyle and I'm a local tour guide excited to share Dublin with you. This is a tour for locals and those new to the area to learn about beautiful Dun Laoghaire and make friends at the same time! We'll start at Dun Laoghaire DART station and visit landmarks like the East Pier, Dun Laoghaire Baths, the People's Park, the Forty Foot, and the James Joyce Tower and Museum. All the way along I'll be explaining the local history, with time for guests to chat to one another too. Come and see what makes the coast of Dublin so captivating! This event will start at 12 noon sharp and last approximately 2 hours. This is a tip based tour, meaning that you make a contribution depending on what you feel the tour was worth at the end. There is no minimum amount and even €5 is hugely appreciated. The tour will include entry into the James Joyce Museum, including access to the roof for 360 degree views of Dublin.
