Third Wednesday of the month, every month at this charming restaurant /bar/Tea House in Vauxhall. Entry is £10. The food is home cooked and the fish and ships smells and tastes delicious. We sing three sets of eight songs, and take a few requests. The audience all join in singing the choruses but here is quieter than some of our other venues. Whether you’re old or new to the club, we would love to have you join us! We are situated in the main bar area and have tables suitable for games taking 4-6 players. We encourage you to discuss any games you would like to play, or will be bringing in the chat. Please note we do not have a stock of games. We rely on members bringing their own games. 
Parking is available on some nearby streets. There is also some limited parking outside the venue. 
Attending members will be asked to pay £1 per Meetup (card/contactless only) to the club organisers. The fee helps pay for our Meetup subscription and venue memberships.

Meet from 6pm, to start writing at 6.30, for 1 hour. We will be sitting on the side near the main road, away from the river (turn left when you enter) The venue has a bar (but not food) and kindly asks that everyone buys a drink in return for using the space. It has free wifi and there are a few plug sockets but they're limited so best to come fully charged. There are a number of station within 10 minutes walk: Mansion House, Blackfriars, St. Pauls, Bank, Cannon St. ----- Join us for some focused writing time. All writers and all experience levels are welcome and don’t worry, no one will see what you've written. This session is about getting your writing done and meeting other writers in your area. When you show up, say hello to everyone, grab a drink, and get your writing tools ready. Once you’re all settled, take some time to chat with your fellow writers. Once everyone’s arrived, I will lead quick introductions and then set the timer for our quiet and focused writing session. Afterward, we’ll have time to chat and get to know each other. Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations. 
We started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that. We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus. 
Feel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn. 
Here are just a few examples of the kind of games we play. 
Tabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 Wonders… 
Social deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, Werewords… 
IMPORTANT: 
1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for. 
2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you haven’t come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.
