Surrounded by lovely scenery of the Český kras, we are going to enjoy two runnable weirs, swimming in the river and a well-deserved refreshment at the Řevnice Brewery! *You can join even if you haven’t canoed before as long as you can swim. You should also be somewhat physically coordinated and have patience to learn a new motor skill!* I’m **not** a certified instructor however, I have taught countless people the basics of canoeing. LOGISTICS We will meet on Saturday 6th of June at **8:50** in front of the main ticket office at the Prague Main Railway Station. We’ll be aiming to be back in Prague by **18:30**. However, we will be as fast as the slowest members of our group and an unexpected delay is possible. This is a **full-day event.** WHAT TO TAKE WITH YOU • Shoes to wear in water (sandals, or you can buy special shoes for walking in water) • Wear clothes which dry fast (NOT jeans) • Sunscreen • Towel and maybe some spare clothes (in case your canoe capsizes) • Swimwear • Bottle of water and a small snack. • Put all your staff to a small compact bag – we will put all our belongings into water-proof barrels and they are not very large. You need to be prepared for a possibility of the boat flipping (capsizing).
