We have one long pose - you can choose whether to draw several studies from different angles around the room, or take your time to do a single sustained drawing or painting in full detail. The pose is held for 20 minute intervals with five minute breaks in-between so the model to rest and stretch, and so artists can move between seats if they choose. My name is Maroof 👋 and I’ve been practicing calisthenics for the last 6 years. I love this sport because I’m fascinated by the incredible movements the human body can achieve and I believe calisthenics connects people, builds communities and is one of the most sociable forms of fitness out there. In this class, we’ll cover the fundamentals like push-ups, squats and core exercises and also dive into the basics of more advanced movements such as the planche, front lever, back lever and freestyle calisthenics, all in a fun, supportive environment where you can progress at your own pace. We also play a quick team game at the end when there are a lot of participants. A 2.5 hours oil color - acrylics painting lesson. **About this course** This is a painting workshop with the goal of teaching people how to create paintings using either oil colors or acrylics. The total subject lessons consists of around **27 lessons** that last 2.5 hours each. You can join at any time during the course. On each lesson the first part will be about theory and exercise and the second one about canvas time. Each participant will have the chance to work on canvas and start making paintings as artworks. All materials are provided by us. Each lesson has a subject. We do not follow a particular order, and every lesson is actually unique and many times personalized. This means that every time the attendess will have to do something new and different. You do not have to paint on canvas and with the mentioned art materias, you can also choose to use any of your wish. Most of the observations and exercises work well with all art materials. It is suitable for beginners and or even professionals who want to rationalize the canvas painting process. We meet and sketch each other in Berlin. This is just an art gym that we also exercise our social skills. Afterwards usually we go for lunch as a group. **How Does It Work?** This event is simple, we meet and sketch each other doing portraits. Most of the participants use pencils or watercolors. Main aim is to socialize while we draw. There will be plenty of time to talk and get to know each other. We have to mention that this event is suitable for all levels. Many have started to draw in our event actually. **Structure** A. Warmup Phase: We pose to each other for 1 minute. B. Main Phase: We pose to each other for 10 minutes. C. Showcase Phase: We show some of the drawings we did to each other. **Who We Are** Creative Sessions is an art events group located in Berlin. **Is it Free?** The event is free of charge. It is advisable to get a drink though. This is a cafe, we need to have at least half of the people on each table with a drink. They accept only cash and most hot drinks cost from 2.50 to 3.50. **How to help or donate?** The event is provided for free but many people help this be a regular thing. These meetings will be a building block approach to learning photographic mastery over three disciplines: Completely Mechanical (CM) - A 13-week series Completely Exposed (CE) - A 26-week series Completely Composed (CC) - A 52-week series All three series will run concurrently and will dovetail as follows: Q3/26 - CM (Iter 1), CE (Iter 1, Pt 1), CC (Iter 1, Pt1) Q4/26 - CM (Iter 2), CE (Iter 1, Pt 2), CC (Iter 1, Pt2) Q1/27 - CM (Iter 3), CE (Iter 2, Pt 1), CC (Iter 1, Pt3) Q2/27 - CM (Iter 4), CE (Iter 2, Pt 2), CC (Iter 1, Pt4) That's likely confusing, but essentially, CM offered 4 times in that period, CE offered 2 times, and CC offered 1 time. **TO BE CLEAR - THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THESE CLASSES.** This is an aggressive series, with presentations, homework, group shoots to be added in, likely at LEAST twice a month, image critiques, and an expectation that you are willing to put in the work to elevate your photography significantly. Open to all levels and all equipment levels. Don't let hesitation about your skillset and/or gear keep you from a one-time opportunity. The group will meet every Tuesday, with periodic exceptions, and we will try to keep as close as possible to the original plan. These events on the schedule are to serve three purposes: 1. These will serve as field shoots targeted at The Completely Series homework. Generally, each of these shoots will focus on the homework assigned in the two prior weeks. So locations and topics will be picked to match those expectations. 2. Additionally, these events are to serve as placeholders for TIME OF DAY. They are intended to be modified as needed to capture SUNRISE and/or EARLY MORNING light. They will likely be modified to time out for the IDEAL light on that day, at that location. EXPECT THEM TO BE MODIFIED as the time of year changes and/or schedule conflicts occur. But THERE WILL BE at least one morning shoot per month. 3. Lastly, they are also to serve as semi-monthly morning shoots for the group as a whole. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE IN THE COMPLETELY SERIES to attend any of these morning field shoots. Locations and specifics will be updated as the event date approaches.
