Berlin. Designing the Next Generation of AI Experiences
**Designing the Next Generation of AI Experiences**
AI products are evolving faster than ever. But while interfaces become smarter, trust, clarity, and usability often lag behind.
Join us for an evening exploring how designers shape AI experiences people can actually understand, trust, and use with confidence. Together with leading voices from the design industry, weâll discuss the challenges of designing for AI-driven products, emerging UX patterns, and what it takes to build meaningful human-centered experiences in an increasingly automated world.
The evening will feature several keynotes, followed by a panel discussion and networking with Berlinâs design community.
**Speakers & Talks**
## Speakers & Talks
â**[Rafaela Stamboroski](https://www.linkedin.com/in/rstamboroski/?utm_source=luma)**
Model Behavior Designer for Joule at SAP
â**Talk: Guarding the Guardrails: The Designerâs Role as Behavior Becomes the Product**
Designers have always created shared context: aligning people, decisions, workflows, and business goals around user needs. In AI-native products, this skill becomes even more critical. Strategy and systems thinking turn into behavior alignment: shaping how AI acts, responds, and collaborates with humans.
âThis talk explores why the designerâs role is not shrinking in the AI paradigm. Instead, designers are moving upstream: defining guardrails, influencing product strategy, and helping businesses deliver AI value safely and meaningfully.
â**[Abanoub Awny](https://www.linkedin.com/in/abanoubawny/?utm_source=luma)**
Sr. UX Designer & AI Innovator @ SAP Signavio, Founder of [Unblind UX](https://www.linkedin.com/company/unblindux/?utm_source=luma)
â
**Talk: Your Next User Isnât Human**
AI is no longer just a feature inside digital products. It is becoming an active participant in how products are used, interpreted, and operated. As agents begin to navigate workflows, consume system structures, interpret content, make recommendations, and collaborate with humans, design must evolve beyond screens and interactions.
This talk challenges designers, product teams, and developers to rethink what âuser experienceâ means when the next user of your system may not be human.
â**[Anna Herasymenko](https://www.linkedin.com/in/annaisdesigner/?utm_source=luma)**
Staff Product Designer at Meta, working at the intersection of AI, systems thinking, and product craft.
â**Talk: Vibe Coding for Craft**
AI products can't be designed in static tools. The behavior is the experience â and behavior only shows up when real APIs and real data are in the loop. Designing in Figma is like planning a meal with pre-chopped ingredients. Vibe coding is actually cooking it: discovering the oven runs slow, the recipe has a typo, a spice is missing. That gap between planning and cooking is where craft lives.
âThis talk reframes AI-assisted coding as a repeatable workflow for designing AI experiences: stress-testing edge cases, surfacing the failure modes static design tools hide, and closing the gap between looks right and feels right.
**[Kate Hofmann](https://www.linkedin.com/in/kate-hofmann-ux/?utm_source=luma)**
UX design leader with an enterprise focus and experience building and managing large design teams and multimillion-dollar design portfolios. Worked closely with organisations like SAP, Boeing, Microsoft, UBS, DHL, Flexera.
**Talk: The Last Dashboard. What enterprise software looks like when AI becomes the primary interface.**
For decades we designed enterprise software around the same assumption that users must navigate dashboards, analyse data, interpret reports, and decide what to do next. For Âą20 years weâve been obsessed with reducing clicks, then reducing forms, reducing friction.
But as software takes over more of the analysis and decision-support tasks - do users still need interface at all? What is left for UX to design, and what becomes the role of UX?

Discover DNA Together: A Strawberry Science Evening
Hello everyone,
We would love to invite you to a free, relaxed hands-on science evening for adults, where we will explore one of the most fascinating molecules of life: DNA.
This workshop is a chance to come together, learn something new, and enjoy a friendly community exchange. The evening is free of charge, open to everyone, whether you already enjoy science or are simply curious and would like to try something different.
We will begin with a short introduction to what DNA is, then we will focus on strawberry DNA and explore why strawberries are especially useful for this kind of experiment.
During the session, you will also have the chance to look at strawberry cells under the microscope before carrying out a simple DNA extraction. By the end of the activity, you will be able to see real strawberry DNA with your own eyes.
No previous science knowledge is required â just curiosity, a willingness to explore, and an interest in spending a relaxed evening learning together.
The workshop will take place in a classroom setting, so participation is limited to 25 people.
If you would like to join us, please register using the link below:
**Registration link:** Discover DNA: Strawberry Science Evening \| DFN\-Terminplaner\.
Please come in comfortable clothes, as we will be working with strawberries and hands-on materials. The focus of the evening is learning, exploring, and having fun with science.
We look forward to discovering DNA with you!

**Time:** 18:00â19:30

đ¸ New formula: Portray or be portrayed!
The sibling to our existing event formula, **Portray & BE Portrayed,** **Portray & OR Portrayed** expands the previous formula by introducing 2 separate participation roles:
* **Photographer:** For creators who want to fully focus on mastering lighting, composition, and directing talent without distractions.
* **Model:** For anyone looking to step in front of the camera, build their modeling portfolio, or capture high-quality content for professional headshots, creative projects, or dating profiles.
Compared to the previous formula, this time the roles are exclusive, meaning you will join this event either as a photographer OR a model.
**This event formula is meant to activate different parts of our community.**
Similarly to our Group TFP event formula, we will be working with smaller groups of 3-4 members with shifts, during which models will be rotating across all of the photographing groups.
**đ Location**
We will be shooting around the architectural lines and ambient lighting of the **Government District (Regierungsviertel)**. To make the most of our time, a plethora of curated reference locations and backdrops will be provided to all participants at the start of the event.
**đ˝ď¸ Post-Event Social Lunch**
After the event, we will go to [Zollpackhof](https://maps.app.goo.gl/rCvptgpB86PLizPA9) to discuss results and socialize.

đ¸ New formula: Collective Composition Challenge & Picnic
New to the ISO Club's event roster, the **Collective Composition Challenge** is all about collective composition, visual storytelling, team chemistry, and creative fun.
**⥠The Adventure**
We are setting up a creative playground outdoors with a curation of unexpected props and a lineup of shared TFP models.
**đ¨ How It Works**
1. **The Teams & The Cams:** Youâll be paired up into fluid creative teams. Every team will work with their own cameras, but it addition, every group will be handed a **disposable film camera** to capture some of their collective shots.
2. **The Vision Pitch:** Your team will brainstorm, scout the landscape, and set up a unique physical composition. Before clicking a shutter, every group will pitch their visual concept to the rest of the collective for live feedback.
3. **The Execution:** You shoot! Share ideas, direct the models together, and make every frame count.
**𧺠The Social Vibe**
This is a visual expedition, but it's also a summer afternoon in Berlin. We will provide blankets and snacks so we can relax, chat, and soak in the creative energy between shoots. Feel free to bring your own favorite snacks and drinks to share, let's make it a cozy picnic!
**đď¸ Follow-up event**
As organizers, we will take all the disposable cameras, develop the film, and bring the physical prints to our next follow-up event for participants.
**đď¸ Photo Project**
Photos from this event can be submitted to the "Collective Creativity" photo project, which will be exhibited in one of the art galleries in Berlin and printed in the form of a catalog.

The Completely Series
These meetings will be a building block approach to learning photographic mastery over three disciplines:
Mechanical Mastery (MM) - 13 weeks of the series
Exposure Mastery (EM) - 26 weeks of the series
Composition Mastery (CM) - A 52 week series
All three series will run concurrently and will dovetail as follows:
Q3/26 - MM (Iter 1), EM (Iter 1, Pt 1), CM (Iter 1, Pt1)
Q4/26 - MM (Iter 2), EM (Iter 1, Pt 2), CM (Iter 1, Pt2)
Q1/27 - MM (Iter 3), EM (Iter 2, Pt 1), CM (Iter 1, Pt3)
Q2/27 - MM (Iter 4), EM (Iter 2, Pt 2), CM (Iter 1, Pt4)
That's likely confusing, but essentially, MM offered 4 times in that period, EM offered 2 times, and CM offered 1 time.
**TO BE CLEAR - THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THESE CLASSES.**
This is an aggressive series, with presentations, homework, group shoots to be added in, likely at LEAST twice a month, image critiques, and an expectation that you are willing to put in the work to elevate your photography significantly. Open to all levels and all equipment levels. Don't let hesitation about your skillset and/or gear keep you from a one-time opportunity.
The group will meet every Monday, with periodic exceptions, and we will try to keep as close as possible to the original plan. Obviously, more data to come, and will be published as this is further developed, but now is the time to decide if you want to be a part of this.

Losing Weight in Columbus - Saturday morning Metro Park at Scioto Audubon Park
Join the weight loss in Columbus group at the Scioto Audubon Park for an in person meeting. We'll meet to chat casually, talk about goals and enjoy one of Columbus's wonderful parks.
We'll meet at one of the outdoor shelters, which is covered in case of rain, is close to some walking trails, and there's also a climbing gym that people can try out (my favorite past time) if people are interested.
Let's meet and see where we can take things!
