Offener Leseabend
## Wo & Wann?
**BEGINN**: 20:00 Uhr
**ANMELDUNG zum Lesen: ab 19:30 Uhr**
beim Moderator des Abends – siehe [Termine](http://autorenforum-berlin.de/wordpress/termine/);
Die Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung ist kostenlos.
**SCHWARTZSCHE VILLA**
**Großer Salon**
Direkt am S/U Rathaus Steglitz
Grunewaldstr. 55
*Unfortunately at the moment, it's only possible to present German texts. Unpublished texts that are already translated into German are highly welcome!*
## Was erwartet Sie?
Also – nicht gleich verschwinden! Dranbleiben.
**Was habe ich gehört?** (Zusammenfassung (Nacherzählung))
**Was blieb unverstanden** (akustisch oder logisch)
## **Unter der Lupe**
**Was ist das für ein Text?**
(Prosa: Genre? Lyrik: Welche Art lyrischer Text?)
**Thema**
**Sprache**
(Welche Bilder sind stimmig / welche nicht?
Was lässt sich zum Rhythmus sagen?
Sind die Sätze syntaktisch und grammatikalisch korrekt?)
**Dramaturgie**
(Schafft der Text es, Spannung zu erzeugen? In welcher Reihenfolge werden die Dinge erzählt?)
**Bedeutung**

The workshop also reflects on how individual stories connect to broader historical and political contexts.
This workshop invites participants to begin an “Exile Diary”; a visual and reflective practice for remembering, retelling, and inscribing personal experiences. It offers a supportive space to explore how memory, identity, and storytelling intertwine.
Together, we will use drawing and visual exercises to access and express intimate experiences, while developing simple and accessible ways to document both significant moments and the textures of everyday life. Participants will create a small, personal notebook designed to be continued over time; as an ongoing practice or a way to capture meaningful moments as they arise.

📸 Studio B/W Portrait Photography in Weissense
Join us for our second studio event this year, first in this new studio in [Weissensee](https://studioweissensee.berlin/), for a minimalistic session with 3 models.
**Main theme:**
This all-black-and-white studio session is a deep dive into the mastery of contrast and light. Instead of just taking striking photos, you will deconstruct and replicate the artistic decisions of photography’s greatest masters. You will explore how deep shadows, bright highlights, and texture shape emotion and direct the viewer’s eye.
The session is divided into three distinct technical blocks based on iconic reference styles:
1. **Terry Richardson & Platon:** Minimalist sets, flat direct flash, and raw, high-contrast emotional energy.
2. **Peter Lindbergh:** Cinematic, soft yet directional window light, unretouched skin texture, and honest human emotion.
3. **Hedi Slimane:** Aggressive digital black-and-white, sharp side-lighting, and cold rock-and-roll decadence.
The goal is to understand how light reveals, conceals, separates, and connects. By consciously borrowing these techniques, you will learn to use contrast as a powerful visual and emotional tool with your own subjects.
**💡 Formula**
This rotation-based format is built to maximize your shooting time and creative output. You’ll work across three setups, lighting styles, and models, all in a single session.
* **1-on-1 Shooting:** Dedicated time with each model.
* **Ready-to-Shoot:** Professionally lit, styled environments for varied content.
* **Inspiring Atmosphere:** A focused chance to experiment, connect, and create alongside like-minded photographers.
**👥 Who & What to Expect**
* **Participants:** Up to 12 photographers, divided into 3 rotating groups.
* **Skill Level:** Intermediate and above.
* **The Models:** 3 carefully selected models.
