Seniors with 60+ years of life experience who are community leaders, intellectuals, artists, storytellers, and want to share their experience over dinners for a small group each time. Every Wednesday there is dinner hosted by a different Silver (senior host) who will open their front door, welcome a group of 5-8 people into their home, and share their stories, knowledge, and connections across the table over a themed evening. In this event we will first go through the basics of the eyesight functions to later talk about very useful exercises which you can use to gradually improve eyesight. The event is open to everyone and not only for people with specific medical condition. Its also completely free of charge. You will take home very detailed exercises that can help you make your eyesight better, more comfortable to use and notice all the important signs of correct use of the eyes which will ensure sharp and joyfully eyesight experience. **“Moral & Ethical Dilemmas (!) — Living With Impossible Choices”** Responsibility, Conflict, Values, and the Tensions of Modern Life We live in a time where the hardest questions no longer have clear answers. Technology, politics, culture, and global crises constantly force us to choose between competing values—often with no option that feels fully right. What should guide us when every choice carries a moral cost? This isn’t a debate club or a moral lecture. It’s a space to think aloud, challenge assumptions, and confront uncomfortable questions together. *** **Topics we’ll touch on:** * Can good intentions still cause real harm? * Individual responsibility vs collective outcomes * Free speech vs protection from harm * Loyalty, fairness, and moral compromise * Is moral clarity possible—or are we doomed to permanent gray zones? * Do principles matter when consequences are severe? * And finally… how do we live with ourselves when there is no “clean” choice? Casual discussion. No philosophy background required—just honesty, openness, and a willingness to be challenged. Bring your views, your doubts, and your discomfort—and expect others to do the same. Share your thoughts. Get provoked. And see what survives serious reflection.

“I don’t know what I want.” If that thought sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and you don’t need a perfect answer to move forward. In this workshop, we’ll explore what *pulls you*—without the pressure of choosing a “right” path. Through simple exercises, you’ll: • Reflect on moments where you felt engaged or energized • Discover patterns in what you enjoy (and what you don’t) • Create a clear “more of / less of” list for your future By the end, you’ll have a better sense of direction—and a few ideas worth exploring. 🧭 Part of a 6-part series, but open to everyone (even if you missed the first one). Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at our Copenhagen Shut Up & Write! sessions. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, résumé, melody, poem, or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: - 15 minutes of hellos and getting settled; maybe some quick intros. - Then, the timer starts! : writing for 1 hour. - After the hour is up... chat / take off / keep writing, if you're on a roll. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens once the hour of writing is complete. Writing can be very solitary... connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. It's best to be on time, but BEING LATE IS ALSO OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check in with us after the session. (We’ll be the ones with the small Shut Up & Write! sign.) If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer. What Should I Bring? Whatever you need to be able to write! Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block the cafe’s overhead music or the occasional conversation by other patrons.

We meet to learn and practice American Sign Language and to grow our familiarity with Deaf culture. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome! **Total Eclipse of the Chart: School Redistricting Dashboards** In this presentation, we will explore the utilization of maps, sets, and SQL within a Tableau dashboard to help provide “what-if” analyses generated through the use of a mapped dashboard, providing different scenarios and the potential implications of these. While in this use case we are focused on a large school district, the concepts of utilizing existing data to explore the future impacts of modifying different geographic boundaries can be useful to many industries, balancing the mix of maps with visual analytics. **About Our Speaker** Robert Kramer is the Data Systems and State Reporting Coordinator at South Western City Schools in Grove City. He has worked there for 17 years, serving previously in the roles of Data Analyst, Programmer, and Operations Coordinator. Prior to working at South Western, he worked as a Systems Engineer at Pinnacle Data Systems in Groveport. He graduated in 2005 from The University of Toledo with his Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering, and a minor in Mathematics.
