Agile in Greece: Research Findings & Key Insights
Agile in Greece: Research Findings & Key Insights
Based on my MBA research, this talk explores the current state of Agile adoption in Greek organizations. Drawing on survey data from executives and Agile team members, it examines how Agile is practiced today, which frameworks are in use, what success looks like and where things quietly start to break down. The research reveals a growing gap between how leaders believe Agile is working and how teams actually experience it. Using a data-driven lens, we explore the real challenges of scaling Agile in Greece, the underestimated role of culture and people, and what it takes to build truly adaptive, innovation-driven organizations. While the data was collected in Greece, the findings are compared with some of Europe’s most mature Agile environments, particularly Denmark and the Netherlands. This comparison places the Greek ecosystem in a broader EU context, distinguishing local constraints from universal Agile challenges and highlighting what can realistically be adapted. **What you’ll take away** * Uncover critical perception gaps, such as the ‘Culture Blind Spot’, that are holding teams back without leadership realizing it. * See the shared roadmap executives and teams actually agree on for scaling Agile beyond pilots and isolated successes * Identify the human factors currently undervalued, contributing to stalled innovation in the majority of organisations and talent loss eventually. * Learn how to move beyond the ‘delivery’ toward healthier, more resilient organizations This session is ideal for leaders, managers, Agile practitioners, and anyone interested in the future of work and organizational agility.

The Late Brunch Society
The Late Brunch Society
Following two outstanding editions, Brunch Social continues as every tow Sundays gathering — and it is quickly becoming one of our most anticipated experiences. This is also one of the very few afternoon events we organize. A late brunch format. A relaxed Sunday atmosphere. A refined, curated crowd. 🗓 Sunday, 22 February 2026 ⏰ 14:00 – 17:00 📍 The Space – Magic Tea Shop, Katechaki At 2 PM, when most people have no structured plans and the city slows down, we create something intentional — a comfortable two-floor venue, upstairs lounge seating, calm energy, real conversations, and space to connect without pressure. The previous two brunches were exceptional. Strong attendance. Effortless interaction. High-quality people in one room. We are continuing with the same standard. ☕ Community Exclusive Offer (Limited) €12 — Any brunch dish + one glass of tea or coffee. Available exclusively for confirmed members of our community. ⚠️ Capacity is limited • Only 10 total spots • Once confirmed, the list closes You are welcome to bring a friend. Just ensure they are registered in advance so we can accommodate properly. Data Pipelines at the Advanced Photon Source
Data Pipelines at the Advanced Photon Source
**Abstract:** The Advanced Photon Source (APS) is an X-ray light source at Argonne National Laboratory where researchers perform imaging, diffraction and spectroscopy experiments at 68 specialized beamlines. APS recently completed a major upgrade that made it the brightest synchrotron in the world and upgraded many of the beamlines to take advantage of the dramatically brighter, more coherent beam. These new capabilities are increasing the facility’s raw data production from <10 PB/year before the upgrade to >100 PB/year once all instruments are back online. To meet this data challenge, the APS Beamline Data Pipeline project team is partnering with beamline staff to develop and deploy science data pipelines that use a common set of open-source software tools (many written in Python) to link instruments with the Polaris supercomputer at the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF) for data processing. This talk will describe the APS data systems, our file-based and streaming pipeline templates, and some of the open-source software we use to extract scientific insights from beamline data. **Audience Takeaway:** Open source Python data acquisition and analysis tools are ubiquitous at the APS. Many of the packages that are mentioned can be found at [https://github.com/AdvancedPhotonSource](https://github.com/AdvancedPhotonSource). This is a *hybrid* event.
