This raises important questions: * Could AGI bring major scientific progress and prosperity? * What risks might arise if powerful AI systems are not aligned with human values? * How should society prepare for such transformative technologies? Researchers and organizations such as the Future of Life Institute and the Machine Intelligence Research Institute study these issues under the fields of **AGI risk** and **AI alignment**. Meeting tradicional do English Brazil para a prática do inglês em encontros presenciais. Esse é um meeting que já é tradicional. Nos reunimos sempre em um local público para praticar conversação em inglês, e ficamos do lado de uma cafeteria para que você possa comprar o seu café enquanto conversa com a gente.
