This time we are going to experience the world-famous spa town of Karlovy Vary, a spa town situated in western Bohemia. We will admire the grand 19th-century spa architecture, stroll along the impressive colonnades, and sip the presumably health-restoring sulphurous waters from 12 different springs in spouted ceramic drinking cups. One of the most famous attractions is the hot spring that spews out hot thermal waters to a height of 12 meters. We are a group of runners who meet most weeks for a run around the beautiful Vltava River's edge. You can bring your running shoes straight from the office/home office if you don't have time to stop at home. There will be a place to put your bags in the Cafe. We will run about 9 km along the river and have a drink afterwards. Paces vary! We will meet in the square near Kavarna Liberal (Hermanova 6), near the Vltavska metro/tram stop at 6:30 on Wednesday. Let's play badminton at Sports Centre Olšanka. We'll meet at 10.40 and play for 60 minutes. If you have a Multisport card please bring it along, as it will make the court free for you and also reduce the cost for others. If you don't have a Multisport card the game will cost you a maximum of 150 crowns, probably much less. I will cover the cost of the court so please bring cash to pay me. There is a small organisation fee of 20 crowns for all players to participate in this event. Racquets can be rented for 50 crowns.

**PUZZLE CARD WORKSHOP - FREE EVENT - ARTS & CRAFTS!** February 26 Přístav 7, Holešovice (V Přístavu 24) From 7:00 PM Before love notes were instant, they were folded. Carefully. With intention. In the 18th and 19th centuries, people used Victorian puzzle purses to hide poems, romantic messages, and tiny keepsakes — sometimes even a lock of hair — inside beautifully folded paper. You had to open them step by step to get to the heart of it. The idea comes from Japanese Tato origami, and later became a popular (and very personal) way to court in England and America. No envelopes, no seals — just clever folds keeping the secret safe. In this workshop, we’re giving this old tradition a modern life. You’ll make your own puzzle purse using beautiful paper, and turn it into a card, a love note, or a small gift wrapper that actually feels special. No experience needed. Just hands, paper, and a bit of curiosity.

Inspired by our successful events like "Saturday Mornings @ East Market" and other "Pot Luck in the Park" lunches, this gathering promises to be a blend of fun conversations, language exchange, and cultural insights, all while sharing wonderful foods with each other.
