This will start around 12:30, immediately following our 11am singing bowl sound bath meditation. So, if possible, please join for both. We will leave from our center and follow the road and then trails into the forest, following the path of our stream until it reaches the reservoir. This will be a gentle walk/hike a little over a mile each way. We will mostly be walking along a trail so the difficulty is not high, but we will be walking hills that require some agility. No special gear is needed but most should wear good tennis or hiking shoes, should bring some water and wear pants or spray to limit interaction with ticks. Along the way, we will pass a few waterfalls and other notable displays of nature. once we get to the half way point, we will stop to meditate and honor a silence on the way back to give each person the chance to fully immerse themselves with the spirit of the forest. There is no charge for this event, but donations are always appreciated. Please remember to drive slowly (under 10mph) on our driveway and please do not stop to interact with the horses. Hey Poetry Lovers! This group is on a roll. Here’s the gist: We meet at the **Capital One Café in Chinatown** from **12pm - 2pm** every other week. For enrichment, we start by reading and reflecting on a **“published poem”**, suggested by someone in the group. No advance preparation is necessary. Customer identity resolution becomes increasingly complex as organizations scale across multiple systems, regions, and data formats. Traditional rule-based approaches often fail to keep up with data variability, require constant manual tuning, and struggle with real-time processing needs. This session presents a practical approach to building a scalable identity resolution pipeline using AWS services and modern AI techniques. The architecture combines data ingestion through Amazon S3 and AWS Glue, transformation pipelines using Spark on EMR, and machine learning models deployed via SageMaker for entity matching and standardization. Graph-based relationship modeling is implemented using Amazon Neptune to improve resolution accuracy by incorporating household and shared attribute context. We will walk through how machine learning models can be used for name and address normalization, how intelligent blocking strategies improve matching efficiency, and how feedback loops can be introduced to continuously improve accuracy.
