About permaculture, agroforestry and effective action
Abstract:
I'm tired to see ground that could be used for heirloom turnips (they grow better in cold and you can hardly see them in shops, there are courgettes and tomatoes in winter and spring instead..) trees and bushes being used exclusively for grass instead.
Mushrooms can be grown easily and safely outdoors in wooden logs..
Some parks in several cities specially abroad but also in Czech Rep. and areas elsewhere seem to want to imitate those that were imitating Victorian times: lush huge lawns.
Do we all really like grandeur without a trace of food gardens, and because that's how it's done it has to be this way?
People would not take care and give continuity to small initiatives, many have been there done that. But isn't it the fault of the organization always? I think so. People like the idea of thinking outside of the box, [while being] inside the box.
That just doesn't really work very well.
So this is an invite, for each other to be able to know what might appeal to others in the framework of finding spaces to grow food to not need to rely so much on what one sees in the shops.

Impact Lunch with David Papa: Leading with courage in uncertain times
We live in a period of constant change, where uncertainty has become part of everyday work. Many people stay productive and composed on the surface, yet operate under steady inner pressure that quietly shapes decisions, relationships, and energy.
âPressure to perform.
Pressure to adapt.
Pressure to know what comes next.
âThis pressure influences how we communicate, create, and lead, whether we manage others or contribute as individual experts. At a human level, sustained pressure often shows up in the body as anxiety, tension, or mental noise. Learning to recognize and work with this response is a practical leadership skill, not a personal flaw.
âIn this lunch session with [David Papa](https://www.linkedin.com/in/davidpapa/), we will explore practical ways to move from reactivity to clarity. Through reflection, light movement, and conversation, you will learn how to calm your nervous system, regain focus, and act with more presence and courage, even when things feel uncertain.
***
# âAgenda
â**Lunch & Networking \| 12:00â1:00 PM**
A shared Venezuelan lunch from Areparna, a drink, and relaxed conversation with people across roles and industries. Time to connect, exchange perspectives, and arrive fully.
â**Workshop \+ Q&A \| 1:00â2:30 PM**
A guided session combining discussion, gentle movement, and practical exercises to explore how internal pressure shows up in work and decision-making. The session includes space for questions, reflection, and shared insight.
â**Closing Remarks & Networking \| 2:30â3:00 PM**
A lighter closing with informal conversation, connections, and time to reflect together before heading back into the day.
# â**You'll learn**
* âHow to recognize when pressure is quietly driving your decisions
* âA ritual to reset focus and emotional balance
* âGrounding techniques such as Havening to calm the body quickly
* âSelf-inquiry tools that support clearer thinking and communication
* âHow to create and connect from presence instead of pressure
***
# âWho is it for
* âProfessionals, founders, and entrepreneurs navigating uncertainty and change
* âIndividual contributors, managers, and leaders

BODY WORLDS: Anatomy, Science, and Art
Dear all
I would like to invite you to visit together the exhibition: Body Worlds.
More info can be found at the link here below :
https://www.bodyworlds.cz/en/vystava
**Exhibition Overview**
BODY WORLDS is an international exhibition featuring real human bodies and organs preserved through the plastination technique, a process developed by German anatomist Dr. Gunther von Hagens. Plastination allows the human body to be displayed in lasting, three-dimensional form, revealing anatomy, movement, and internal systems with exceptional clarity. The exhibition continues a long dialogue between anatomy and art, echoing the anatomical studies of Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Vesalius, as well as artistic reflections such as Rembrandtâs The Anatomy Lesson. BODY WORLDS places the human body at the intersection of medical knowledge and visual culture, inviting viewers to see anatomy as both scientific subject and artistic form.

This is for anyone wanting feedback! We mostly focus on novels and longer works, but short stories are welcome, as well. You can submit anything you want feedback on in any genre. Current word limit for submissions is 4,000 words. Send your submissions by 13:30 the Thursday before the meeting (or we have a grace period during which you can submit a lower limit of 2,500 words if you submit by midnight Thursday evening). Also, if you don't have time to read through everyone's submissions, still join the meeting! We know that busy schedules don't always make finding reading time easy.
To submit, use the Dropbox folder. If you don't have access to it, send sonyalakadosch@yahoo.com your e-mail address so I can add you.
Looking forward to seeing everyone there! My number in case of any confusion the day of the meeting is 737 118 530 - or on Facebook: Sonya Lano (https://www.facebook.com/sonya.lano)
DROPBOX INFO:
* add new submissions for the next meeting in the " submissions" folder for the meeting date. Put your name at the beginning of the file name (for example: "Sonya Somewhere in the Dark")
* When providing written feedback (not required, but deeply welcome), save the file as a separate document on your device, then mark your changes/ feedback in the saved file. After you're finished, put the file in the "Feedback" folder under the folder for the meeting date and then under the person the feedback is for (e.g. "For Sonya").
* The submissions folder will be replaced within a week after the meeting has taken place. Feedback will be deleted within 2 months after the meeting, so if you need it longer than that, make sure to copy it to your own disk.
