What if it all works out? A different vision board experience ✨
**What if it all works out? And how would that feel?**
Tickets: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/what-if-it-all-works-out-a-vision-board-experience-tickets-1979195155990?aff=oddtdtcreator
This Social Circuit gathering is a different kind of vision board experience - one that starts from the inside out.
Instead of creating a traditional collage focused on goals and outcomes, we’ll explore the feeling of the life you’re becoming. Through art, mixed media, colour, texture, and conversation, you’ll be invited to embody your future self and express what becoming 2026 feels like, without pressure, planning, or perfection.
This is a playful, embodied creative experience designed for connection.
We’ll work in small groups, share stories, meet new people, and create a safe, open, and honest space to explore dreams, hopes, and even the quiet barriers that sometimes stand in the way of them.
No artistic experience is needed. All art supplies are provided. Just bring an open mind, a brave heart, and a willingness to get a little messy.
✨ Think: art + conversation + connection
✨ No rigid goals, it's not an interview!
✨ Just messy dreams, honest expression, and becoming together

Community & Care
This is an inclusive, welcoming event. We aim to create a space where people of all genders, sexual orientations, identities, and lived experiences feel respected, seen, and safe.
This is not a workshop led by “experts.” We’re exploring, creating, and becoming together. This gathering includes small-group conversation and shared creative exploration. You’re always invited to participate at your own comfort level. You never have to share anything you don’t want to. Listening is just as valued as speaking.
Our intention is to create a brave, kind, and supportive environment where curiosity, care, and mutual respect guide how we build community. We ask all attendees to be mindful of their own boundaries and to honor the boundaries of others.
If the cost of this event is a barrier for your attendance, please contact us at socialcircuitca@gmail.com - we strive to make our events accessible and are happy to explore options together.
2SLGBTQIA+ Meetup
This meeting will be casual, as are all meetings for this group, for anyone interested in dinner and/or drinks as well as good conversation and meeting people.
This group is welcoming to all members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community AND supporters even if a supporter is not a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community (supporters might like more friends from the community). In addition, everyone who attends will receive a welcome and introduction in an effort to make meeting and making connections as effortless and effective as possible!
Assuming at least one other person has committed to attending, how to identify the group will be provided the day of the meeting (more than likely that will be what I'm wearing that day).
If there are any questions/concerns/suggestions, by all means send a message.
FREE Spanish, English, and French Oral Conversational Class 4 Adults
\*These classes are not a language exchange, but instead are meant to be a step in between so that students feel confident maintaining in depth and grammatically correct oral conversations outside of class\*
\***Meetup event numbers only tend to show new students registering and do not include returning students attending class.** **Per class, there is an average of 7 students.** The first 2 classes are free and then only cost between $15 and $35 depending on which type of class you want to continue with\*
These French, English (For Spanish and French speakers only), and Spanish classes are primarily meant for adults who are travellers, or who are planning to live in a French, English, or Spanish-speaking country. The classes are primarily oral-based through guided conversations. They will teach you how to handle conversations in situations such as **"Going to the Convenience Store"**, **"Making Plans"**, **"Negotiating Prices"**, and **"Going out for a Drink"**. Basecamp is where climbing gets social. Colorful holds on textured walls, crash pads below, and a vibe that says 'yeah, you can do this.' Over 100 routes across 7,000+ square feet mean there's always something new to try.
Your group meets up, grabs some chalk, and starts solving routes together. Some will fly up the wall, others will laugh at their first attempt. That's the point. Between climbs, you're swapping beta, cheering each other on, and realizing that falling is way more fun with friends watching. After, we grab drinks or food nearby. The whole experience runs about 2.5 hours.

Contra dance Jan 24 (First Unitarian Universalist Church) note new time!
# **Band: The Pegheads; Caller: Liz Burkhart**
Beginner lesson at 1:30, regular dancing begins at 2:00 pm
NOTE THAT WE ARE TEMPORARILY DANCING IN THE AFTERNOON INSTEAD OF EVENING. Dance with us in the afternoon then you can still go out in the evening!
**Sponsor: All Soles Contra and Square Dancing, First Unitarian Universalist Church, 93 W. Weisheimer Rd., Columbus OH 43214**
WHAT IS CONTRA DANCING? Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing!
Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor.
Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 1:30 - 2:00, followed by dancing 2:00 - 430. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner.
Cost is $10.00 adults, $5.00 ages 12-26. Under 12 free. Free parking in church lot.
Please bring your own refillable water bottle.
