🥂 Glass Art, Craftsmanship & Czech Traditions in Nižbor Join us for a unique Saturday trip outside Prague to the famous Rückl Glassworks in Nižbor, where we will experience one of the most prestigious glassmaking events of the year – the World Championship in Glass Cutting. Founded in 1903, Rückl is one of the best-known Czech glass manufacturers. During our visit, we will enjoy an English guided tour of the factory and learn how traditional Czech crystal is created by skilled craftsmen. As a special bonus, the championship will be taking place on the same day, giving us a rare opportunity to watch master glass cutters from different countries competing and demonstrating their extraordinary skills. The topic for June is "Roadtrip" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm.
