A friendly get together for people who like to play boardgames. You are welcome to join. We can converse in English or German. You may bring your own games or we have quite an extensive cupboard full of games you are welcome to use. There are always people who will explain games, so no need to worry. Just come. Usually we meet at 18:30 and decide what we want to play. Usually we are able to fill 4-6 tables or more with different games. So you will certainly find something to your taste and likes. Please note that we would like to ask for a small donation of CHF 2. We need to pay rent for the room.

Welcome to the Winterthur Badminton Meetup! 🏸👊😉🍻 We’re an international group created for badminton fans in and around Winterthur. Open to Expats and Swiss folks who want to train and socialise with fellow ‘badmintonists’. Or perhaps you’d like to learn the sport and meet new people? Whether doing it for fun or fitness, the idea is to enjoy and have a great (kickass) midweek. And everyone is welcome to join us for a postgame drink or two! See yah! 😊 Important: We ask everyone to respect others who wish to play. That means dropping out if you won’t make it to the game by updating your RSVP. Keep in mind: RSVPs close at 21:00 two days before the event to give others enough time to plan. Anyone on the RSVP list who did not show up at the event is considered a "no-show". No-shows will still have to pay the shared cost of the court and shuttles. We keep track of no-shows and deprioritise them in future games. Please try your best to pay on the same day by Twint or in cash. With Twint, write in the comment the date and your name for reference. Cost will be around 12-20 CHF, depending on the amount of players joining and if we have to rent 1 or 2 courts. We meet every Thursday for soccer at Juchhof 1. We have a changing room where you also can shower after soccer. Soccer takes place every Thursday, even if we have only a few registrations here on meetup. If you have more questions, please contact me. it's for free the first couple of times. After that you can decide if you want to join our club just for the Thursdays (60 CHF per year) or if you want to become a full member and get a license and join us at the games (270 per year).

Dodgeball is back again! If you’ve been wanting to come out, this is an easy one to join. We’ll be playing for about 1.5 to 2 hours, you do not need to bring any equipment, and no experience is needed. We use a specific set of rules and equipment to make the games run better and keep them fun for everybody, not just people who already know how to play. If it rains, the event will be canceled.
