Hello everybody, I usually look for events on Saturdays but I can hardly ever find any, so I asked myself, "Why don't I organise one ?" The idea is to meet at **Next Bar in Via Crema 7** (Very close to P.ta Romana underground station / yellow line) at **18:00** and hang out there for some time. You can also enjoy drinks and eat for 12 Euros (p.s. the buffet is mind-blowing). Guests are required to buy their first drinks upon entry. I kindly encourage you to RSVP during the week if you can. I really hope to meet you on Saturday! Don't worry if you can't see many people who've RSVPed, the event is advertised on other platforms, so there will be plenty of people to mingle with. When you get there ask for **Riccardo**. Feel free to WhatsApp me at **+39 334 283 1963** During the event, you'll have the opportunity to join our WhatsApp group by scanning QR codes displayed on the tables to stay in touch. Looking forward to a great time together! STILL HR: Close 2025 with a Communal Adult Coloring-in Experience (women 35+)
STILL HR: Close 2025 with a Communal Adult Coloring-in Experience (women 35+)
**Before the new year begins, you are invited to a quiet, intentional hour of coloring together in silence. *There is no fee to attend.*** Coloring gives your hands something simple to do, which allows the nervous system to slow down and the mind to wander without pressure. Many people find that clarity arises on its own, not because they are trying to reflect, but because they finally have room to. This is not spiritual. It is not therapeutic. It is not a workshop. There is nothing to achieve, fix, or prepare for. It is simply a communal pause and a quiet way to let the year land before moving on. This is a phone-free, expectation-free space to slow down and take personal inventory of the year that is ending. There are no prompts, no discussion, and nothing to share. Just time to sit, color, and let your thoughts settle naturally in the presence of others doing the same. Attendance is capped at 10 people to keep the space calm and intimate. ### How the hour will work: * **First 15 minutes:** Arrive, get comfortable, choose your coloring materials, order at the bar, and hear a brief explanation of the format and guidelines * **Next 45 minutes:** Coloring in silence * After the session ends, those who wish are welcome to stay and socialize ### What to expect: * 45 minutes of silent coloring * No phones and no conversation during the coloring time * Materials provided (FREE), or bring your own if you prefer * A calm and respectful environment * **Please arrive a little in advance & purchase your beverage at the bar** ### Who this is for: * Women 35+ * Anyone feeling mentally full, overstimulated, or tired of constant doing * Those who want a low-pressure way to close the year without rituals or resolutions Free to attend. Come as you are, even if you do not feel particularly reflective or festive. Sometimes the most meaningful reset is simply being still together.

ā˜•The Sunday roastery stroll! (20-35 yo)šŸš¶ā€ā™€ļø
**šŸ“Œ THE PLAN** The holiday chaos is finally settling, but Sundays were made for wandering. We’re getting together for a relaxed afternoon walk through the heart of Milan. **No strict itinerary, no stress**—just a casual route in the city centre, ending with a chocolate fix at Starbucks Cordusio. **HOW IT WORKS** * **The Meeting Point:** 4:00 PM, P.zza Castello 1. An easy point to meet- * **The Vibe:** You can have a walk around Parco Sempione,a classic spot for milanese sundays, then go down Via Dante, cross through Piazza Duomo, and head toward the Starbucks Roastery. * **The Finish Line:** Once you hit Piazza Cordusio, you’ll grab a coffee or a hot chocolate at the **Starbucks Roastery**. Whether you grab it to go or find a spot inside depends on the crowd and the group’s mood. **šŸ“Œ IMPORTANT: COMMUNITY-LED (No Official Host)** This is a self-organized meetup. There is no designated "event leader" on-site, so the success of the afternoon depends on the people who show up. * **Communication is Key:** You **must** join the WhatsApp group to coordinate. It’s the only way to find the group if you’re running late or can’t spot the crowd. * **The Reality Check:** If the WhatsApp chat is silent by Sunday at 2:00 PM, assume the energy is low and the event isn't happening. If you want it to happen, be the one to send the first message! **šŸ“Œ TO JOIN** 1. **RSVP** on Meetup. 2. **Join the [WhatsApp group](https://chat.whatsapp.com/FYTML17W7mxAmXXOrvIBSs)** <--- Mandatory for real-time updates. 3. **Keep it real:** If your plans change, please update your RSVP so the group isn't waiting around for you.

December Book Club/White Elephant Book Exchange
December Book Club/White Elephant Book Exchange
Welcome, readers! ā„ļø Our December read is **_A Quiet Life by Ethan Joella._** A Quiet Life by Ethan Joella is a tender, character-driven novel that follows three people in a small Pennsylvania town as they each cope with loss and seek connection. Chuck, a widower, struggles to find meaning after his wife’s death; Ella, a young woman, faces the heartbreak of her missing daughter; and Kirsten, a veterinary technician, grieves her father while contemplating her future. Their stories intertwine gently, revealing how grief and hope coexist—and how even small acts of kindness can help people rediscover purpose and peace in the aftermath of tragedy. Looking forward to discussing with everyone! At this meeting, our third annual White Elephant book exchange will take place! If you'd like to participate, bring a gift-wrapped book that you already own. On the gift wrap, write the genre of the book. We will meet at Zaftig Brewing Co in their event room in the back. We are welcome to bring in our own food, but **drinks must be purchased at the bar.** Happy reading! šŸ“–
The Matzah Ball by Jean Meltzer
The Matzah Ball by Jean Meltzer
I don't usually pick romance but I really wanted to do a Hanukkah book. It's a bit on the longer side but hopefully a quick read. The library only has 5 audiobooks so please try to remember to "release it" when you're done. For a decade she’s hidden her career as a Christmas romance novelist from her family. Her talent has made her a bestseller even as her chronic illness has always kept the kind of love she writes about out of reach. But when her diversity-conscious publisher insists she write a Hanukkah romance, her well of inspiration suddenly runs dry. Hanukkah’s not magical. It’s not merry. It’s not *Christmas*. Desperate not to lose her contract, Rachel’s determined to find her muse at the Matzah Ball, a Jewish music celebration on the last night of Hanukkah, even if it means working with her summer camp archenemy—Jacob Greenberg. Though Rachel and Jacob haven’t seen each other since they were kids, their grudge still glows brighter than a menorah. But as they spend more time together, Rachel finds herself drawn to Hanukkah—and Jacob—in a way she never expected. Maybe this holiday of lights will be the spark she needed to set her heart ablaze.

Shut Up & Write!Ā® Easton Town Center
We'll meet at The Capital One CafĆ©, 167 Easton Town Center, Space A-103. This is in the main mall where the Microsoft store used to be, on your left if you're standing at the bottom of the AMC Theater escalator. Join us on Sunday for an hour of uninterrupted wordmaking! • What we'll do Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at noon on Sundays. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: 12:00 - quick intros. 12:10 - timer starts: write for 1 hour. 1:10 - chat / take off / keep writing. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 1-1:30ish. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session. If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer. Happy writing and I look forward to seeing you! • What to bring Whatever you need to be able to write! Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block noise or the occasional conversation by other patrons. Electrical outlets are limited, so charge your devices before whenever possible. See you at The CafĆ© on Sunday!
