Zum Trainingsstart umgezogen in der Halle, Umkleiden sind vorhanden. * Selbstständiges Aufwärmen * Meistens ein Torwartspiel * Einwerfen (Hin und her passen) * Torwarte einwerfen * Handballspezifische Übungen * Match (falls genug Leute da sind) Training basiert auf dem Plan des Trainers und den anwesenden Personen, kann also ein bisschen abweichen. Da die Mannschaft nach einigen Abgängen momentan etwas kleiner ist, klappt ein Match am Ende nicht immer. Die Einstiegsschwierigkeit ist beim Handball etwas hoch, aber es ist eine sehr belohnende Aktivität. Am besten einfach mal vorbeikommen, ich erkläre und helfe gern bei allen Fragen, im und vor dem Training :) Auch von Vorteil, wenn ihr mich vor dem Vorbeikommen kontaktiert, dann würde ich euch z.B. vor der Halle abholen.

Join us for our regular and casual Sunday afternoon / evening playing Padel. **How we play** Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced Players are welcome Number of courts depends on the number of players * 4-7 players: one court * 8-11 players: two courts * 12-15 players: three courts Ideally, 6, 10 or 14 players are attending * Then you play two matches in a row and then take a break * A match is played in a single set. First team reaching four games wins the match. We play a minimum of six games per set (means even after 4:0 you still play two more games in this set) If an odd number of players are attending, we adapt to the situation Teams are mixed all the time. So you will play with/against different players during the event * Teams are put together based on their skill level * We focus on having balanced teams **Price** * 10 € for 1h * 17 € for 2h * If you need a racket, you can rent it from us for 2 € (limited number available). Otherwise you can always rent from the venue for 5 € * We use the money to cover the courts rent, base-subscription for renting, providing balls and rackets **Cancellation** * Please cancel at least 4h before the event. Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. You are welcome to order sunday dinner entrees\, too\. **What is National meatball day?** * Whether you prefer the classic spaghetti and meatballs, or just love to pick up a meatball sub for lunch, you are sure to want to celebrate National Meatball Day on March 9 . We may never know who invented National Meatball Day because there are no records of this unofficial holiday being created. But whoever did it was definitely onto something.

Inspired by our successful events like "Saturday Mornings @ East Market" and other "Pot Luck in the Park" lunches, this gathering promises to be a blend of fun conversations, language exchange, and cultural insights, all while sharing wonderful foods with each other. Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 1:30 - 2:00, followed by dancing 2:00 - 430. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner. Let’s knock down some pins and knock back a few drinks while we’re at it. Bowling is one of the best stress relievers out there, so bring your A game and let’s see what you’ve got. It’s $20 per person, which includes free shoe rental and two hours of open bowling. We’ll start with six people per lane. Once we have six, we’ll grab our lane and get rolling. If more people show up after that, we’ll snag the lane right next to us and keep the party going. Come ready to have some fun.
