Boulder-what? 🤔 It’s climbing (FR: escalade, le bloc) up to 4.5m high without ropes—and in my case, without much hope! 😂✨ It’s a super fun indoor activity, but be warned: it does require a certain level of physical fitness and/or skill. Most importantly, though, it requires awesome company—which we’ve got! 😎
 The Idea: 📍 Meeting Point: For those arriving at 14:00, we’ll meet at the cafeteria (next to the billiards table). Hi Runners, The countdown continues! After a fantastic first session, it’s time to step things up. Whether you’re a seasoned veteran of the Cinquantenaire finish line or a first-timer, there’s no substitute for time on the actual course. For our second preview run, we will follow the route along Avenue Louise and the loop at the Bois de La Cambre. This time we will skip Av. Tervuren. This session will remain "steady and social," The Details: Meeting Point: Right in front of Cafe To Meli (near Rond-point Schuman). When: Sunday, March 29 th at 09:30 AM. Bag Drop: Available. Feel free to leave a jacket or a change of clothes so you can stay warm post-run. The "Cuppa": We’ll head back to Cafe To Meli after the session for coffee, snacks, and a chance to swap training tips. A fun way to compare wines from two different countries at a time. House Wine is squaring off two countries' wines against each other each Thursday in March. If you can't make the hike, we should be there by noon. **How to find our starting point in Big Meadows:** If you are new to Highbanks, the Big Meadows picnic area is 1.5 miles into the park just after you turn into the park off of U.S. Route 23. That is, after you enter the park, drive a mile and a half into the park. You will come to a crosswalk with a yield sign in the middle of it (this is not to be confused with the first such crosswalk you come to just in front of the Nature Center, which you arrive at maybe a quarter of a mile into the park). Just after this second crosswalk, make a left. Then make another almost immediate left into the parking lot on your left. There you will see the jungle gym and the kiddie zip line to your left. I will be just in front of the restrooms just a bit further down from the jungle gym and picnic shelter; the restroom building will also be on your left.

The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630.
