**Participation:**
Participation by voluntary contribution (5–15 € suggested)
**Meeting point:** Karl-Marx-Büste (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strausberger_Platz#Karl-Marx-B%C3%BCste), Berlin ([Strausberger Pl. 12, 10243 Berlin](https://maps.google.com/maps?vet=10CAAQoqAOahcKEwi4l8-__c-UAxUAAAAAHQAAAAAQJg..i&sca_esv=080e5c4976d32afe&pvq=OhUweDA6MHgzOWMxOWFkN2Y5ZDg2ZTY&fvr=1&cs=0&um=1&ie=UTF-8&fb=1&gl=de&sa=X&ftid=0x47a84e3e065a95dd:0x39c19ad7f9d86e6))

The goal is the process.
Let us enjoy the animations we want to make!
PS: The café has another floor, take some time to look upstairs ;)
3D Origami Meetup (Introduction)
**🐈⬛️ Why 3D Origami? Isn't all origami kinda 3D?**
While regular origami is made by folding one piece of paper into a complex shape, 3D origami uses identical modules stacked on top of each other to create larger objects.
In this meetup you will learn how to fold basic 3D Origami pieces to create either a flower🌺 or a chick 🐣 model.
If you want to look beyond traditional origami techniques, this meetup is for you! No prior experience required.
What you can expect in our events:
***Mandatory donation (amount of your choice) **– this supports essential costs like the Meetup subscription and keeps our community thriving. 🌱 You can either submit a physical donation to the event host in person or make a digital donation [here](https://paypal.me/origamiberlin?locale.x=de_DE&country.x=DE) (and inform the host afterwards).
** *Please order at least one drink/snack **to support Hermann Eicke for hosting us!**
*** In-person folding practice for all levels *– beginners and experienced folders are equally welcome.*
*** Origami paper + model instructions will be provided. Feel free to bring your own favorite sheets or tools!
*** Photos may be taken for memories & our archive (Meetup, Instagram, Telegram) – let the host know if you prefer not to appear.
⚠️** RSVP Policy – Please Read **⚠️
Our community has grown a lot since its birth in August 2024, which is amazing — but it also means we need to handle RSVPs more carefully:
*Please cancel your spot or contact the host directly (via Meetup message function or our [Telegram channel](https://t.me/+T4URs80l2ig3NWNi)) if you can't make it last minute.
- Members with **2 no-shows** (without notice) will be removed from the group unless a valid reason is provided.
Thank you for helping us keep Origami Crafters Berlin respectful, reliable, and fun! 🙏 Get in touch if you have questions anytime and see you all at the folding tables very soon! ☕️
Strong Core & Open Heart Flow - EN
This class builds strength where you need it most while creating space where you crave it.
Strong Core & Open Heart Flow combines focused core activation with progressive backbends to support stability, posture, and freedom in the upper body. Expect a steady sequence that prepares the body step by step, so backbends feel supported rather than forced.
We move with intention, linking breath to movement to create both strength and ease. You’ll work on spinal extension, shoulder opening, and deep core engagement, improving not just flexibility but control and confidence in your practice.
This class is energizing, grounding, and subtly challenging - ideal if you want to feel stronger, more open, and more connected to your body.
Options and variations are offered throughout.

Founders Running Club :: Berlin
**Founders Running Club** (FRC) brings founders, investors, tech, creative people and startup enthusiasts together for weekly easy runs and networking.
Every Saturday morning we gather together and run through Tiergarten.
Join us in one of these 3 routes:
\* **5K** – for new & beginner runners
\* **7K** – for regular runners
\* **11K** – for more experienced runners
**OBS**: We are usually around 30 people, between regulars and newcomers (from here and from Luma), so don't be scared if there are not a lot of people confirmed on the event here.
The pace is chill and conversational, around **6:30**.
On the 7k and 11k some people like to push a bit more, but no one gets left behind.
We finish with a nice coffee and amazing conversations.
The vibe is always great.
Pets, friends, family, are welcome.

Bug Bounty Berlin - Meet, Share & Learn
This will be the first meetup of the group. A relaxed evening for people interested in bug bounty hunting, web security, AppSec and vulnerability research.
The main goal is to meet like-minded people, talk about bugs, tools, targets, methodology, reports, interesting findings and whatever else comes up around security research.
Since it is the first event, we can also spend a bit of time discussing how future meetups should be structured: casual chats, hacking sessions, short talks, tool sharing, report discussions or presentations.
As soon as at least **3 people join**, I will look for a suitable location. The first meetup will probably be in a **café, bar or restaurant**. If there is enough interest in presentations, I can also look into booking a room with a **TV or projector** for future events.
No preparation needed. Please keep everything legal and authorized.

Founders & Builders - Co-Working Session (Deep Work + Social)
Hey everyone, I’m organising a structured co-working event for those who are tired of grinding at home alone.
To ensure that we have both **socialising** + **working**, we'll be using the “Pomodoro” technique:
**50min of deep work** (silent), followed by **10min of break** to socialise. Then repeat! If you get into flow, you're also welcome to skip the breaks.
——————————————————-
AGENDA:
* **15min Intros -** Get to know everyone, talk about what you will work on today
* **Pomodoro Session** - *Each Pomodoro session consists* *of...*
* ...**50min** of uninterrupted “deep work” (no talking, no interruptions, no phones)
* ...**10min** of break: share your progress with others, talk about what you are stuck on etc.
* Repeat x3
* **15min** Conclude and celebrate your progress
Share your progress, socialise and meet new people. Or just get some work done :)
————
We'll be at the Social Hub Berlin (they have a food menu in case you get hungry). After the structured part ends, you're welcome to stay longer. See you there 🩵
**\*\*We'll be at the long table. Please update your RSVP in advance if you can't attend!\*\***
Special Meetup: Show & Tell with Adolf El Assal
We are starting a new live event: **Show & Tell**.
Every great journey begins with a first story. Join award-winning filmmaker [Adolf El Assal](https://www.imdb.com/de/name/nm2151187/) for an evening that traces the beginning of his filmmaking career — the risks, the setbacks, and the moments that changed everything.
We'll screen two of his short films, *Mano de Dios* and *The Notorious Road…*, followed by a live Q&A where you can ask him anything about filmmaking, storytelling, or building a career in the industry.
Whether you're an aspiring filmmaker, a film lover, or just looking for some inspiration, this is an evening about perseverance, creativity, and believing in your voice.
ℹ️ This event will be photographed and filmed by us. By attending, you agree that you may appear in photo or video material used for our content and communication.

Free In-person Meeting: Unwanted Emotions & Loneliness, How to Get Over Them
This is an in-person meeting.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance.
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
For instance, let's say you are already carrying a huge load on your back, then you cannot take on much more, but, let's say something else happens to you, such as the difficulties from the Pandemic, then the resultant combined weight on you can take you over the edge, kind of like the straw that break the camel's back. When this happens, people's attention usually goes to the straw that was added, but actually the majority of the weight had come from the huge load that were already there, holding a person down and causing a person issues.
So how do you remove the huge load that was already there? How do you lighten them up? Is it possible to get rid of them?
That is what this meeting will be all about.
Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.

But join the local UX community for a chat and some biscuits to catch up. If you were in CA for Figma Config, tell us all the lines and you can tell me how I can animate an SVG without coding it by hand, and why I’d even want to.
