đ #InPursuit â A Book Club for Builders, Thinkers, and Doers
đ #InPursuit is a book club for entrepreneurs, creatives, and curious minds who know personal growth fuels business growth.
See a lot of RSPVPs and wonder how it works? We'll break up into groups of 6-8 to share our insights, then swap groups after 30-45min so you can maximise learning from everybody!
Note: this even is not organised by or affiliated with The State Library of Victoria
That's what #InPursuit is all about Itâs not a traditional book club, itâs a space for people who are actively designing a better life through the pursuit of business, creativity, and personal growth.
This event is for anyone #InPursuit of better business, life and relationships. Instead of reading the same book, we each come prepared to share one powerful insight from something weâve read in the past 3-months. Anything non-fiction thatâs moved us forward.
Whether itâs a mindset shift, a productivity system, a new philosophy, or just a truth that punched us in the gut. This is a place to unpack it together and hear what others are learning too.
Weâre not just here to read. Weâre here to integrate. Because when we grow, our business and our lives grow too.
đ Why Join? You'll leave with:
*- 5â10 fresh insights from books you may never have picked up*
*⢠Deeper awareness of how others think, lead, and evolve*
New connections with people walking a similar path toward purpose, results, and impact This isnât a lecture. Itâs a room full of people building themselves while they build the thing.
đ How It Works First time?
No pressure to share, just come curious. We'll break up into groups of 6-8 and share our insights, then swap groups so you can maximise the learning! Returning? Bring one idea youâve read about in the last 3-months and be ready to speak on:
1. What did you learn?
2. How did it shift your perspective about the world or yourself?
3. How has it changed the way you show up or behave?
We keep it structured, but flexible. After sharing, we open up to Q&A, personal stories, challenges, and deep dives. Some of the best insights come from the conversations *after* the share.
đ§ Who This Is For
⢠Entrepreneurs or side-hustlers finding their footing *Business owners, and doers building toward better*
*⢠Curious minds who love ideas but care more about action*
People tired of shallow conversations and hungry for growth If youâre working on somethingâor becoming someoneâthis space is for you. Itâs a practice ground for people who want to grow forward.
Weâre all #InPursuit of mastery, momentum, and the kind of success that starts from within.

16 May: Figurine Painting and Friends-Social
**â¨Are you tired of making âhow are youâ friends? This event is for you!â¨**
đ¨What better way to build and deepen connections than through a fun activity like **Figurine painting**!
There are many social events but it isnât easy to feel connected to someone in a large group setting. I am super extroverted yet found myself walking home after a great social feeling more lonely, because of all the superficial connections made. I started Hue&Crew to help people build their next close-friend circle based on age, personality and interest!
đ¨**What to Expect**
This isnât a big mixer event, every event has a limit of 6 people per table and a fishbowl full of conversation starters to help people get started! We move around Melbourne's many beautiful cafes weekly to keep things fresh! Expect:
* A fresh, comfy venue
* A hosted structure so youâre never left awkwardly quiet
* A fishbowl of conversation starters for the introverts
* A relaxed atmosphere where you can genuinely be yourself
* Hand-painted figurines you made yourself to bring home
Each group is curated to feel natural, matched by age, interest and personality
đ¨**Notice before you sign up:**
As the events are really small and it might take some time to form a group with similar interests, we will inform you when there is a suitable group for you!

NeuroSparks Social Meetup!!!
Hi all, us at NeuroSparks are having another fortnightly meeting and we'd love to see you there!
When: the 16th of May (Saturday) from 12:30-3:30PM.
Where: we will be meeting at the Majorca Room at the City Library.
Access to the room is via a lift or steps in the foyer.
The City Library is located at 253 Flinders Lane, right next to Flinders Street/Town Hall Station.
This social gathering will be for those looking to connect with others in the community. It'll be a very casual setting, where everyone can be themselves and can and go when they feel like it. For anyone wanting to continue socialising after the room booking ends, we encourage you to get out and hit the town together!
**People are welcome to bring food/drinks to the event. Conveniently for us, there is a cafe on the library's ground floor and there are many cafes also nearby on Degraves Street! But for the sake of continuing to use the venue, please tidy up after yourself.**
This event is open to all neurodivergent people and anyone who values a friendly, inclusive space. Many attendees come on their own, so if youâre feeling a bit hesitant, know youâll be in good company and warmly welcomed. If the group/noise feels too overwhelming at any point, there is a silent study room next door to decompress in.
If at any point you have concerns or feel uncomfortable
about any group member, please notify one of the organisers.
**For the purposes of not overwhelming attendees, we will be capping RSVPs at 50 people maximum. If you have RSVPâd and can no longer attend, please cancel your booking, to allow others to attend. If you sign up for the waitlist and Meetup prompts you to pay, please ignore this, as this event is not intended to be paid for.**
Looking forward to seeing all of you there!

Sunday Meditation | Community Building | Connection | Meet New People
**Who We are..... đ¤**
Our journey to bring people together began in January of 2022. The group was started with a simple intention to gather and meet some likeminded people - connecting through the powerful act of meditation and sharing our genuine selves while sitting in a circle that represents equality, harmony and wholeness( *we believe everyone in the circle is a teacher and a student at the same time)*.
And over the last 4 years of consistently coming together, we have fostered a beautiful, loving, dependable community where members from all walks of life have experienced a sacred space to sit in silence together and meditate, share their authentic selves, give presence to others and forge meaningful and long lasting connections.
The Meditations are guided by Sana(co-founder and host), who is a Trained and certified meditation teacher by the Meditation Association of Australia, and has been guiding meditations for 3+ years in corporate and community settings.
⨠**Do you wish to....**
* Experience a simple yet powerful meditation and breathing practice to find calm, relaxation and clarity
* Connect with like-minded people in your local community and foster meaningful connections
* Meet others who are passionate about growing, uplifting themselves, and supporting others
* Share insights from your personal journey (or simply listen and learn)
Or maybe you just want to...
âŽď¸ **Spend your Sunday evening in a peaceful, zen space and meet new people? Bring a friend (or two!) and letâs connect.**
**Whatâs on the eveningâs flow?**
* **Open meet & greet** â connect and settle in
* **5 min guided meditation** to land into the space and connect within
* **Sharing circle** (totally optional!) â share your thoughts or simply listen
* **20-30 min guided meditation** â for relaxation and deeper connection

đ **250 George St, Fitzroy VIC 3065**

Coffee Catchup - Whitehorse Rd â
* **What Weâre About**
You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with, so join us â and be part of a community that rises above circumstances and creates opportunities. Inspire and be inspired by those who make things happen.
It's a relaxed, organic space to connect with like-minded people and networkâgenuinely talking, learning from each other, and connecting over shared interests.
* **What to Expect**
Casual Meetups: We gather semi-regularly at a local cafĂŠ to chat about everything from stepping outside your comfort zone to business ideas, creative projects, and building a life aligned with your purpose. Itâs relaxed, easy, and welcomingâno need to have anything âfigured out.â
An Easy-Going Space: We keep things simple and low-pressure. Once everyone arrives, we ease in with some light conversation and naturally break into smaller groups.
Networking: Feel free to introduce yourself or let people know what you're working on if you feel like it. And if anyone wants to quickly shout out what theyâre working on or looking for before we settle in, go for itâitâs a great way to spark new conversations.
* **Host Support**
If youâd like a one-on-one chat with me about your business, just tap me on the shoulder. Iâll be floating around and happy to make time for you.
**Quick note for the day:**
Depending on the weather, we might go for a walk too. Just remember to wear comfy shoes đ đ đĽž:)
âIf you're running late, drop me a quick message as we might leave the cafe for a walk within the last 30-45 minutes. đ đââď¸ đââď¸
Understanding Our Support Needs (And Each Other's)
Neurodivergent brains come with their own operating manuals â but most of us were never handed ours. Some of us run hot on sensory input, others stall out on transitions, some need movement to think, others need silence to function. The tricky part is that our needs are often invisible, even to ourselves, until something tips us over.
This month at Neurospicy Bayside, we're slowing down to look at two questions:
* What support do I actually need to feel okay and do my best work?
* What might the people around me need that I've never thought to ask about?
We'll talk about the kinds of accommodations that exist (formal and informal â at work, at home, in social spaces), share what's worked and what hasn't, and gently map out where each of us tends to struggle. The goal isn't to fix anyone. It's to build a richer vocabulary for our own needs and a more compassionate lens for the people in our lives who might be quietly white-knuckling things we'd never guess.
Bring yourself as you are. Stim, doodle, pace, listen, share as much or as little as feels right. Fidgets and ear defenders welcome. There's no expectation to disclose anything you don't want to.
Looking forward to seeing you there.

Final Monthly Minimalist Meetup
Hello and welcome back to all our past members and welcome to our new members!
This is going to be our **last meetup on Meetup.com**, as some of you know we are moving away from the platform. It has become quite expensive **(around $600 per year!)**, and weâve also had issues with the software with members being removed, which made it hard to stay in touch with everyone, which is why for most of you this would be first time in a while that you've heard from us. Nevertheless, 12 years of minimalist meetups are not going to come to stop - we will still keep going but via the simple and free email list! So if you are still interested in Melbourne Minimalist Meetups please reply with your best email address or email me on **nyamkab@protonmail.com** *(Sorry for those who I have already messaged about this, we've been having some issues with this platform).*
So for one last time this month we'll come together to discuss minimalism, with a focus on **frugal winter hobbies** given the increase in costs and decrease in temperature. It would be great to share and learn from each other about what gives us joy and meaning during fall and winter.
As usual we will also have a **swap & declutter,** so bring anything you no longer need/want that is still in good condition. Anything that is not wanted will be donated at the opshop at the end of the event.
Looking forward to seeing you!
