🎨Montmartre Walking Tour — The Belle Époque of Paris
This walking tour (in English) will take you through the most charming corners of Montmartre — the hill of painters and poets.
You’ll hear stories about the artists who lived and created here in the early 1900s — Picasso, Toulouse-Lautrec, Modigliani, and others — and discover how Montmartre became the heart of artistic Paris.
📍 The exact meeting point will be shared after registration.
💳 Price: €10 per person
To join the tour, booking via GetYourGuide is required. The GetYourGuide booking link is in the pinned comment below.
After registering on Meetup, please join the WhatsApp group — I’ll share the exact meeting point, practical details, and any updates there (If the link doesn’t open, you’ll find a working chat link in the comments below.) https://chat.whatsapp.com/HmR5r6fGeM8H9wm9yfSwlJ?mode=gi_t
After the tour, we’ll go for a cozy lunch nearby — they make a great French onion soup 😋
Deep Talk / In English
🍩🍰 Let's have a weekly deep talk in an intimate Parisian café, share a drink and have a good time with like-minded, lovely and chill people. 🥂☕
We're here to sip life in a childish, simple and non-serious way. 🙃
When was the last time you had a meaningful conversation? Or deepened your relationship with someone in your life? It's not easy to have a deep conversation.
While small talk, which is typically casual and light-hearted, can help break the ice, it may not necessarily help you form a deep, emotional connection with someone. Whether it's with your friends, family, colleagues or romantic partners, having meaningful conversations is important for creating strong bonds.
"Meaningful conversations help us understand ourselves and those around us better. They involve sharing important aspects of ourselves and actively listening, validating and connecting with others."
We believe that a happy and healthy life is built on beautiful relationships and that loneliness kills us. That's it. It's not the number of friends that counts, it's the quality of the relationship.
✅ This group is adressed to :
● People who want to build deep, genuine and caring relationships in a small group that looks the same, where they feel comfortable and emotionally safe to talk emotionally and get intimate about anything in their lives.
● Simple, loving, kind, hyper/sensitive and lovely people who spend a lot of time in their bubble thinking about the meaning of life, passionate about personal development, philosophy, meaningful conversations, debates ....
⛔ Please don't subscribe if :
● You don't see yourself in the group's aims and beliefs.
● You're travelling for a short period of time and don't live or intend to live in Paris.
● You are not sure if you will be able to come, please update your status to allow others on the waiting list to join. An absence without notice will result in an irrevocable ban.
Progress :
● ❗ For reservations, I'll send you a private Meetup message at least 5 hours before the meeting to confirm your reservation. If I don't receive a reply 2 hours before the meeting, I will send you a second message to let you know that you will be replaced by someone on the waitlist.
● 💚 We keep the session small, cosy and relaxed in a quiet place, prioritising regularity to encourage intimacy, connection, listening and speaking. (\~ 5/6 people)
● 🔖 On arrival, if you feel comfortable, you will be suggested to choose and associate several drawn Feelings and Needs cards to express how you really feel at the moment, to talk about ourselves and communicate effectively.
● 📝 The best way to make progress is to make the conversation easy and natural, with everyone making an effort to suggest and write down what you want to talk about. You can write down your favourite topics/questions before the meeting. The meeting is participative and invite everyone if you feel comfortable being a leader and a power of suggestion.
Anyway, to keep the meeting running smoothly, I'll animate the meeting to make sure the conversation doesn't get wild or boring and I wouldn't hesitate to reframe people. In case of lack of inspiration we have a lot of deep conversation question card game which can help to find interesting questions.
● 🍕 (Not compulsory) After the meeting we can finish in a nearby restaurant for those who wish to relax or continue our conversation.
Advice for a good moment :
● Leave your ego and mask at home, we are not here to impress anyone but to be ourselves with our strength, weakness, pride and shame.
Come with an open/deep/emotional/complex thought and vulnerability.
● Ask open-ended questions and invite the other person to describe what a situation was like for them or how they felt.
● Don't hesitate to be vulnerable and share information about yourself if needed.
Consider sharing personal information first to gain the other person's trust.
● Adopt an attitude of curiosity and genuine interest in what the other person is saying. Be thoughtful and try to put yourself in the other person's shoes so that you can see things from their perspective. Be truthful, caring and honest.
● Listen actively and ask follow-up questions.
● Be empathetic and offer emotional validation so that they feel seen and heard.
It is forbidden to judge, but try to understand.
● ⏱ Be aware of your speaking time for Equally Speak.
● 🤫 Be aware never to provoke political or religious ideologies, but to accept differences of belief. Advice on non-violent communication can be given in the meeting to learn not to unintentionally hurt anyone when requested or needed.
● 🚨 Remember to maintain a safe, and benevolent environment. People who are considered to be disruptive, problematic or simply not in tune with the energy of the group will not be allowed to return.
Finally, we're hug-friendly !!! 🤗

Balade des jardins secrets du Marais

Des plantes ? Dans le Marais ? Oui !

Offline Walk #5 | Walk along the Seine
**📵 This is a phone-free event by The Offline Club.**
Hi lovely person, this listing is for discovery only
—tickets are managed through Lu.Ma [👉 Please confirm your spot here.](https://luma.com/mbg054w7)
\*\*\*
👣 *A mindful walk along the Seine*
After three beautiful Offline Walks, we’re back for a **5th edition** — a slow, social walk following the Seine, from **Pont de Bir-Hakeim** all the way to the **outdoor sculpture museum of Paris**.
This walk is an invitation to move gently, notice the city, and reconnect — with yourself first, then with others.
**How it will unfold**
We’ll meet on **Pont de Bir-Hakeim**, right in the middle, on the pedestrian side, where you’ll have the Eiffel Tower on one side and the *La France Renaissante* statue below on the Île aux Cygnes. From there, we’ll begin a **silent walk** along the Seine — time to slow down, breathe, and enjoy the city awakening around us.
About halfway through, we’ll stop to **grab a coffee** ☕, as a simple pause to warm up and recharge.
Then we’ll continue with a **social walk**, following the Seine toward the outdoor sculpture museum. This second part is relaxed and open: space to talk, connect, walk side by side, or simply enjoy the route together.
As always, you’re free to join each part in your own way.
**What to expect:**
👣 A silent walk to slow down and reconnect with yourself
☕ A coffee break to pause and recharge
💬 A social walk to connect naturally with others
🌿 A gentle route along the Seine
🇫🇷 🇬🇧 French & English friendly — all our events are bilingual
**The program:**
**14:00** \| Meet on the pedestrian side of **Pont de Bir-Hakeim**
**14:15 – 15:20** \| Silent walk along the Seine
**15:20 – 15:40** \| Coffee break
**15:40 – 16:30** \| Social walk toward the outdoor sculpture museum
*Augustin, our passionate volunteer who loves hiking and urbanism, will guide you — you don't need to know the route in advance.*
**Contribution**
This is a **donation-based event**, open to everyone.
Your contribution helps us keep creating screen-free, mindful moments like this one.
*Refunds? Sorry, no take-backs.*
**About your phone**
We invite you to keep your phone **off or tucked away**.
This time is for your steps, the river, the city and the people walking next to you.
If you really want to capture the moments, feel free to bring a camera. However, we also encourage you to take mental photos.
Offline Walks happen **every last Sunday of the month**, creating a gentle rhythm of movement, presence, and connection.
We can’t wait to walk with you.
Offline hugs,
**Stefania & Augustin (your main host for this Offline Walk),**

Walk & Talk About Life's Big Questions
[The Board Walks](http://www.theboardwalks.com/) are for curious people who love deep conversations.
If that sounds like you, **bring a thoughtful topic** and join us for a 5-mile walk (10,000+ steps!).
**HOW IT WORKS**
**Step 1: Bring a topic**
Before you arrive, think of **one** topic you want to explore. A question. A thought that's been on your mind. An obsession you want to geek out on. This is your ticket to the event.
**Step 2: Circle up & share**
We gather in a circle. Your friendly walk host gives a speech to set the tone. Everyone shares: your name, what you're grateful for, and your topic. That's it. 60 seconds.
**Step 3: Walk, talk & float**
We walk 5 miles. You naturally drift into conversation with 2-3 people at a time, pulled by topics that spark your curiosity. When you're ready to move on, just say: "I'm going to float!"
**Step 4: Feel more alive**
Two hours flies by. You're back where you started — but you feel different. More alive. More energized. More connected to yourself and others. That's why regulars join 20+ times.
*For more details, read our [Orientation Guide.](https://www.theboardwalks.com/orientation)*
**HOW TO BRING A GREAT TOPIC**
A great topic = something you're genuinely curious about.
Recent topics include:
* "What are you passionate about right now?"
* "What makes a good friend?"
* "What's a belief you used to hold that you've completely changed?"
* "How do you want to be remembered?"
* "What would you do if money wasn't a factor?"
Think of your topic like the dish you're bringing to our conversational potluck. If everyone brings an A+ dish (i.e. energizing, uplifting, expansive), we'll all walk away feeling lighter and brighter.
**WHAT TO EXPECT**
This isn't a fitness event with casual chitchat. It's a walking think tank where we explore life's big questions together, beyond small talk. *If you're looking for light banter or a standard networking event, this probably isn't the right fit.*
But if you crave depth, genuine connection, and conversations that make you feel alive? You'll love it here.
**FAQ**
* Wear casual athletic attire and sneakers. It's a long walk!
* We have multiple first-timers at each event. We work hard to create a welcoming, inclusive, clique-free space.
* We welcome people of **all** ages, backgrounds, and industries who align with the [intention](https://www.theboardwalks.com/ground-rules) of this space.
* Rain or shine, we've been out here nearly every week since July 2022. If the event is cancelled, we'll let you know.
* Dogs, babies in strollers, parents, and friends are welcome — please text/email them the event link so they can RSVP and prepare a topic!
**LOGISTICS**
* If you'll arrive over 10 minutes late, we suggest skipping the event. It's hard to find us once we start walking, and your host can't answer messages during the event.
* This walk is designed for everyone to *move together at the same steady pace* (about 20 min/mile). This format works best when the whole group moves in unison. If you have mobility limitations, we kindly encourage you to find an event better suited to your needs.
* Read our [Orientation Guide](https://www.theboardwalks.com/orientation) for full details.
* If you enjoy the event, send **[this](http://www.theboardwalks.com/)** to a friend or sign up for our **[newsletter](https://theboardwalks.beehiiv.com/)**. We're in multiple cities with more on the way. 🤠👋
