Explore Glen of the Downs Loop, County Wicklow (Easy)
**Meeting Point : Bray Station, (Outside the ticket machines) for 13:20**
**Take the Dart to Bray at 12:33 and get off at Bray 13:18.**
**Then we will be getting the 131 (Wicklow Bus Eireann) at 13:30, on the Bus for Nine Stops and getting off Glenview 13:46.**
**It is a 10 minute walk to the Car Park.**
**We should arrive to the Car Park at 14:00 at the latest.**

**It is a 12 Minute (1 KM) walk to Glen of the Downs (Delgany) to the starting point.**

**Walking Loop is 1 Hour 30 Minutes - 2 Hours Duration (5.1 KM)**
**This walk is a nature reserve trail through the Glen of the Downs.**
**This is a home to abundant wildlife, including numerous bird species, red squirrels, sika deer, foxes, and badgers.**
**Along the way, youโll pass the Octagon, a historic remnant of the 18th-century Bellevue Estate.**
**Becareful when accessing the busy car park and the motorway !**

30's - 45's๐ฆ Social Singlesโฐ๏ธ Hike ๐ ๐บ Glendalough.
Make new friends ๐ค ๐ซ while hiking โฐ๏ธ๐for health and to refresh your mind in the ๐ฆ Wicklow ๐ป๐ผ๐บ Country side. (Is this a Boot Camp ๐๐??)This is an easy social hike ๐ฟ๐๐ in Glendalough but you still need some hiking fitness and be able to walk on rocky paths with a hiking boots. We will hike the lakes loop which is about 10kms to 12kms or so.

The meeting spot will be in Dublin City Center at 10.20 am Opposite The Shelbourne Hotel St.Stephen's Green park. At 10.30 am we go ahead to board our bus. We will take the 11.00am express Bus to Glendalough. Be early๐. The hike starts at about 12.15pm from Glendalough MAIN visitor's center at the bus stop and bus pickup point back to Dublin at 17.30pm. Please be on early and on time for those who are meeting us in Glendalough.
This hike is not always on a track๐, so HIKING BOOTS with Vibram Sole and ankle support highly recommended as some tracks are also very rocky and muddy. No JEANS for this hike ,No Running shoes please. Dogs ๐๐ฆฎ๐โ๐ฆบ welcome, But need to check with bus company if not driving by car there. Bring waterproof warm winter clothing, food, snacks and water or drinks as we will stop for breaks. You Need some level of fitness and some hiking experience but this is not a hard hike.
This is a sporting event, so every person attending this hike is responsible for their own health and saftey at all times.
South Dublin Parks Walk
On Sunday 22nd March, we will have another walk - in four south Dublin parks, which should be looking very green in their early spring colours.
After meeting at the **main gates to Trinity College on College Green**, we shall walk through the college grounds to the nearby park in Merrion Square with its Oscar Wilde statue and beautiful flower beds. We will then walk to St Stephen's Green and Iveagh Gardens and see the fountains and waterfall and have a go at doing the maze.
After Iveagh Gardens, there will be an option of visiting a nearby bonus mystery park. Can you guess which park it is?
If people are interested we could stop at a cafรฉ or pub during or after walk. Or feel free to bring snacks as we could have a short break at some point.
Feel free to come on the walk even if you haven't been to a meet up before. This is a great way to meet new people and see new places.

1. Is there a charge for this event? No, this is a free event. Sometimes we have events that involve a visit to a museum or garden with an entrance fee - but this will be clearly marked in the details
2. Is it OK for people on a short visit to Ireland to join this walk? Yes both visitors and residents alike are welcome to join our walks.
3. How easy/difficult is this walk? Most walking groups would classify this as an easy walk, but having a reasonable level of fitness is recommended.
4. Why are there only a limited number of places for this event? To ensure the best possible experience for the people attending it is necessary to limit the numbers, especially as the chosen route may not be straightforward and along narrow paths.
5. Why is it necessary to book on this event if you wish to attend? This is because there are only a limited number of spaces (see point above) and to ensure the fairest allocation of spaces, we kindly request everyone to book a place. It's OK to change your mind about coming but please change your RSVP as soon as you have for someone else to take the place if they wish to.
PLEASE NOTE: Walking like many outdoor activities carries an element of risk. People who take part in our meet up activities do so at their own risk and are responsible for their own actions and involvement. If you register to join our meet up walks you agree that you wish to take part in the activities despite these risks.
Please wear boots, shoes or runners that you find comfortable, provide suitable support and have good grip as some of the paths may be uneven or steep. It is also recommended to bring water to avoid dehydration. Bring warm clothes and a waterproof jacket or umbrella in case of inclement weather.

A weekly guided bodyweight callisthenics meetup to **get strongerโtogether**.
Think push-ups, squats, and core work scaled to your level. **No gym experience needed**, just a willingness to move and chat! Get stronger every week and build a habit!
All **ages, genders and fitness levels welcome**!
The session will consist of a full 360 routine of:
**5 minute warm up:** including exercises like butt kicks and shoulder rotations.
**5 minute plyo:** Train explosiveness at your level.
**35/45 minute strength building + endurance**: to build muscle and endurance. Easy, intermediate to hard versions for every level.
**15 minute HIIT:** for some happy endorphins! (Okay to skip if you're tired!)
**5 minute Cooldown:** Get the heart rate down and stretch
After, we will go to the food market close by,

This will be **super low pressure**, incorporating **basic callisthenics at whatever pace is good for you! Lots of variations from beginner to advanced.** Push yourself or take it easier - no judgement! We also **use resistance bands** for some exercises but there will nearly always be a body weight exercise equivalent!

Let's meet for a swim on Sunday 22nd in Seapoint at 12.00 noon
We'll meet at the lifeguards' building
Wear whatever feels comfortable to you, a full wetsuit, boots and gloves or a simple swimsuit.
We are not lifeguards and there are no lifeguards on duty so every one is responsible for their own safety.
It's a good to bring a hot drink to warm up after the swim. Some of us will go for coffee afterwards to a local cafe.

Two hours flies by. You're back where you started โ but you feel different. More alive. More energized. More connected to yourself and others. That's why regulars join 20+ times.

This isn't a fitness event with casual chitchat. It's a walking think tank where we explore life's big questions together, beyond small talk. *If you're looking for light banter or a standard networking event, this probably isn't the right fit.*

* If you'll arrive over 10 minutes late, we suggest skipping the event. It's hard to find us once we start walking, and your host can't answer messages during the event.
* This walk is designed for everyone to *move together at the same steady pace* (about 20 min/mile). This format works best when the whole group moves in unison. If you have mobility limitations, we kindly encourage you to find an event better suited to your needs.

Blacklick Woods Hike
Join for a two mile hike at beautiful Blacklick Woods Metro Park leaving from the base of the canopy walk. This hike is mostly flat on gravel and paved trails. Come and enjoy another warm springing hike with us.
Hike Blendon Woods Metro Park
Hi ladies. We will meet in front of the Nature Center and head to the two Observation decks. We will then hike Hickory Ridge, Ripple Rock, Overlook and Sugarbush trails to get approximately four miles total distance. We will walk approximately a 18 minute mile pace. Please wear appropriate hiking shoes.
