Business Communication: Stop Being Overlooked at Work
**You are doing the work. But are the right people seeing the value of it?**
**In a difficult economy, being good at what you do is not enough. People are making decisions all the time: who gets trusted, promoted, referred, hired, renewed, funded, or invited into the next room.**
**If your value is not clear in those moments, the cost is real.**
**You get passed over. Your ideas get credited to someone else. Clients question your rate. Managers miss your contribution. You leave important conversations with vague promises instead of a clear next step.**
**This workshop helps you make your value visible without sounding defensive, arrogant, or aggressive.**
**Small group of max 20. You need working English to participate.**
**This is for you if**
* You deliver results but the recognition goes to someone else
* You are doing more than people realise, but struggle to say it clearly
* You over-explain, soften, or freeze in important conversations
* You want to be taken seriously by managers, clients, partners, stakeholders, or decision-makers
* You are preparing for a review, pitch, interview, promotion, raise, rate, or business conversation
**What you leave with**
* A framework to make your value clear
* Your own real situation prepared and ready to use
* Scripts for stating your contribution
* Responses for pushback, dismissal, or vague answers
* Practice saying it out loud in a small group
* A follow-up email with the scripts and tools from the session

Ask Female Founders: Women* Wanted: How to Pitch to Specialized VC Funds
Only 1% of Venture Capital reaches all-female teams. Nina Wöss is on a mission to change that.
### Gender-diverse and and all-female startups receive just 9% of all venture capital according to the latest Female Founders Monitor 2025 published by Start-Up Verband Germany and Bertelsmann Stiftung in 2025.
These numbers have not changed much in the last 10 years. New ideas are needed to change a system that is not leveraging all its potential. Creating new specialized venture funds is one solution.
In this session, Nina Wöss—Managing Partner of the VC Fund F tells us what motivated her to found a venture capital fund specializing in gender-diverse founders only. Fund F writes cheques of up to EUR 600k, acts as lead investor, and brings an active follow-on policy—backed by a team of entrepreneurs, investors, and operators who provide hands-on support and connections to their portfolio companies.
Nina will also pull back the curtain on how VCs actually think and what they look for. She previously founded the Female Founders Community with 83.000 members all over Europe and is a leading figure in Austria’s VC Scene.
#### 💡 What you will learn
* What **VC funds in general and Fund F** in particular **looks for in early-stage startups** and how to get on their radar
* Why **gender-diverse teams outperform** all-male teams
* **Concrete steps** you can take today to **strengthen your fundraising position**
This event is brought to you by **SIBB Incubator**, who supports founders building the future of cybersecurity, trustworthy AI, and deep tech.
#### 🧑🏻🏫 Speaker
**Nina Wöss - *Managing Partner, Fund F***
* **Founder** and **Managing Partner** of **Fund F**, Austria's first VC fund specifically for female and gender-diverse founding teams
* **Co-founder** of **Female Founders Global** (since 2016), one of Europe's largest communities for female entrepreneurs
* **Former Principal** at **Speedinvest**
* **Former COO** at **AVCO** (Austrian Private Equity & Venture Capital Organisation)
* MSc in **Strategic Management**, WU Vienna
* **Active in the startup ecosystem** since 2012
***Moderated by: Etta Dannemann in her role as head coach.***
Etta Dannemann moderates the event in her role as Startup Coach at the SIBB Incubator. As a solopreneur, trainer, and architect by education, she loves creating new things — but even more, supporting others as they build and grow. Etta is passionate about empowering women in tech, helping them turn their ideas into action and leave their unique mark on the world.
#### 🎯 Who is this event for
* **Gender diverse teams** and **female founders** who are preparing a **funding round**
* Anyone who wants to **understand** **how VCs think**
* **Startup ecosystem** professionals, accelerator participants, and/or incubator members
We look forward to seeing you! Come with your questions, and an appetite for honest answers about the funding landscape.

AI-Monitoring beyond Visibility: What Does ChatGPT Really Think About You?
Most brands track whether they appear in ChatGPT, Gemini, and AI Overviews. But mentions and citations only tell half the story.
In this session, Raoul Schreck, our CEO at Buzzmatic will show you how to systematically analyze what AI actually says about your brand: which attributes it assigns to you, which USPs it credits to your competitors, and where your communicative blind spots are.
Using a real client case and a concrete 4-layer framework, you’ll learn how to move beyond visibility tracking and uncover the narratives AI systems are building around your brand — and what to do about them the next morning.

**HOST:**
**L’aDios – Liliana Velásquez**
Liliana Velásquez is forever a New York City gal. Her tough love Latinx charm will have you laughing uncontrollably as she relates how learning to set boundaries led to great comedic moments.
She has Shamelessly self-produced multiple shows and empowers her art with her activism. As a SW, Doula, and Entertainer, her performances are bound to leave you both entertained and slightly scared.
**HEADLINER:**
**Teddy Hall**
Since 2017 Teddy Hall has been performing all over Europe. Presenting a uniquely introspective and self-reflective brand of comedy, Teddy's raw and authentic style has led to him headlining shows across Europe and featuring on television in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and Romania, not to mention selling out shows in more than 10 countries. Teddy's comedy veers from the profound to the inane with a fundamentally empathetic and optimistic view on life.
In 2025, Teddy's show SLAYBOY won "Best Stand Up Comedy" at Reykjavik Fringe Festival and was taken for runs at Barcelona Fringe, Tallinn Fringe, and Adelaide Fringe. Teddy was nominated for a Swiss Comedy Award 2022 was also featured on Comedy Central DE Roast Battle. He is also the first mainland European comedian to be featured on LMAOF, the OnlyFans Comedy Production.
Teddy has opened for Todd Barry, Alok, Elf Lyons, Victor Patrascan, Gianmarco Soresi, Dragos, Ashley Gavin, Robby Slowik, Mike Rice, Patrick Spicer, Casey Balsham, Emma Dalenberg, Vidura BR, and many more. He attended the École Philippe Gaulier and has trained in clown with Piotr Sikora and Dan Lees.
As a bisexual (well, pan, but he says “bi” so the normies understand) his destinations have varied from Vagina Village to Buttopia, with regular detours to Nipple City. He consistently goes to therapy to try to figure out why he likes what he likes, but he's too scared to actually find out.
**GUEST:**
**Maya Upchurch**
Maya Upchurch is ranty, wild and morally corrupt. Inspired by the likes of Bill Hicks, Bill Burr and Joan Rivers, she's a high-energy force of Gen-Z nature who lacks the ability to speak of anything other than exactly what's on her mind. Based out of Berlin, she's got a truckload of tales from the European capital of hedonism and her Polish/American background means she really knows how to take a shot.
While Maya most certainly will make fun of everyone and everything on her path, her favorite person to roast is undoubtedly herself. Bringing light to her time-wasting habits, irrational anxieties, and dependence on technology, she believes that "punching up" is best done when it’s an uppercut to yourself.
Maya started doing standup in 2020, but shortly after her first set there was lockdown because China was scared of her power. Since then, she's done shows all around Europe, was featured in The New York Times, performed with Don't Tell Comedy, opened for the likes of Ashley Gavin, Todd Barry and April Macie and did all sorts of other really cool and exciting stuff.
Please note that the lineup for this show may change due to unforeseen circumstances, however we always promise high-quality sexy comedy.

Join us for a night of Epic Comedy as we bring you the cream of the crop when it comes to Berlin's established and up-and-coming comedians. Our code is quality. That means no first-timers, no hobbyists, just tried and tested comedians bringing you tight sets of original comedy. We pick our comics based solely on their ability to take you from the sprawling plains of average humour and usher you through the gates of next-level hilarity.
This is a Pay-What-You Want show. This means you reserve a ticket and don't pay anything upfront. You pay what you think the show is worth at the end. We are confident in our ability to deliver a lineup and show that is worth at least 15-20 Euro and we are willing to put our money where our mouth is. Can we make it any fairer than that?
Still, if you'd rather pay upfront, we also have the option of purchasing a table seat which offers you somewhere to stack your drinks and is located farther back from the stage.
The call has gone out, the comics are gathering. The only question is, are you in the mood for something Epic?! Join us for the best Friday comedy live event in Berlin!

**Running K8s with AI: Automating** **the SRE Lifecycle with Grafana MCP and GitLab**
What does it look like to run 30+ microservices, 8 databases, and a Kafka cluster almost entirely through AI agents? This talk walks through a practical demo of automating the full SRE lifecycle: from incident investigation to deployment validation, using Grafana MCP and the GitLab Agent Platform, and where humans still need to stay in the loop.
*Serhii Vasylenko*
**The Pipeline Was Green — AI Agents and CI Trust**
We’ve spent years building CI/CD pipelines that tell us when code is "technically correct," but are they capable of telling an autonomous AI agent if a change is safe to apply? This talk explores a real-world incident where an AI-powered automation -- pairing Renovate with Claude Code -- successfully executed a "green" pipeline that broke a critical QA cluster for three days, how the team reacted, and how we evolved our vision toward the future of human-agentic collaboration with code.
*Frithjof Hoffmann*
**Managing Uninvited Guests: Securing Open Source Dependencies**
Open source software is the ultimate neighborhood party, but what happens when an uninvited guest slips through the door? This talk digs into the messy reality of dependency hell and its role in software supply chain security: from typosquatting attacks to maintainer account takeovers, and the abandoned projects with known CVEs quietly living in your codebase rent-free.

You can be the best at what you do and still be invisible. If local buyers cannot find you, the phone does not ring.
Marketing Monday Lunch + Learn is a monthly working lunch for Columbus business owners focused on building relationships, local networking, and local marketing. Every kind of local business welcome. No pitch round, no pressure, no upsell.
**This month**
Most local businesses pick one or two places to be visible and call it good. The result is inconsistent calls and a feeling that marketing is not working.
