[see coordinates further below]** Hare says: From Mesogeion Ave. (north or south), at the traffic lights next to the 'Ethniki Amyna' metro station, * turn to Kyprou St. (east - towards Hymettos mountain- statute of the big guy on horseback, on the side ) * Go up Kyprou St., and go 3/4 round at the roundabout, next at the 'Verde cafe' sign or go immediately right onto Leof. Papagou (two way traffic) or right on the next one, Korytsas St., they both merge after \~0.5km at east end of the park. (Look for parking spot). We start there, at Korytsas & Papagou, next to a concrete 'mushroom'/'umbrella' (or under it, if it rains) If from Attiki Odos, * take the Papagou exit, downhill on Anastaseos St. for 1+ km, at * 3rd set of traffic lights it crosses Leof. Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: 11:00 - quick intros. 11:15 - timer starts: write for 1 hour. 12:15 - (the end) chat / take off / keep writing / socialising. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session. Whatever you need to be able to write! Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block the cafe’s overhead music or the occasional conversation by other patrons.
