Speak to Lead Toastmasters helps people to improve their public speaking and leadership skills in a supportive and fun environment. No matter what your age, background, and level of confidence are, it is a place for you. If you are scared as hell of public speaking, then you should definitely come! If you find it interesting, you can later sign up as a member by paying a small monthly fee (non-profit). As a member, you will get access to online educational programs and manuals, will be able to give speeches, take on different roles, participate in contests and international conferences as well as befriend lots of cool people. Come join us for an afternoon run/jog/walk. It will be warmer than the week before and daylight longer. We are not a typical running club, so please read about the concept in “about us”. How it works: we don’t know in advance where the trail will go, but we know it will be fun! A member of the club, the 'hare', sets a trail, usually marked with flour. The rest of us, the 'pack', follows the hare's 'scent', i.e., the marks. There will be a 8-10 km trail for runners with shortcuts down to 5-6 km for walkers and those who need a slower pace. We have no set pace - run/walk as slow or as fast as you'd like. After the run we enjoy some refreshments and socialize. All happens outside, so you need spare warm clothes for after the trail! Come a few minutes before the start so that you can say hi and leave your bag in a designated bag car before we set off at 14:30. Don’t worry if there are few registrations on Meetup. We have existed for 44 years, and a lot of our members (anywhere from 20 to 50 people) just show up. Four-legged friends are welcome! We never cancel. See you there!
