Software engineering is changing. Dramatically. Writing code today isn't what it used to be ... a mere few weeks ago. As AI coding agents start gaining more widespread adoption, "best practices" are still unclear. Nobody can still say for sure what should go in AGENTS.md, what the secret sauce for a good skill is. In this hands-on, [mob programming](https://www.baeldung.com/cs/mob-programming) session, we'll practice using some agents together, **learning from each other** as we go along: * how do we best prompt the agents to build a feature? * how can agents help with code review ? (we'll try out Mozilla's [star-chamber](https://blog.mozilla.ai/the-star-chamber-multi-llm-consensus-for-code-quality/) that gets multiple LLMs to review our code - and to discuss with each other before telling us the output) * spend the time in between discussing skills, subagents, hooks, and whatever else is new by then. Την κορυφή Κορακοβούνι! 🎋 Πρόκειται για μία όμορφη ημικυκλική διαδρομή 8,5 χιλιομέτρων στον Βόρειο Υμηττό, με αρκετές εναλλαγές τοπίων αλλά και γεμάτη με εντυπωσιακά σημεία θέας προς το λεκανοπέδιο! (Δείτε τις φώτο πιο κάτω) Στη πορεία μας θα συναντήσουμε και το περιβόητο σπήλαιο λιονταριού! Το όνομα του σπηλαίου δεν είναι τυχαίο. Περισσότερες λεπτομέρειες στο σημείο. ⚠️ ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ: Η διαδρομή αν και σχετικά μικρής απόστασης ΔΕΝ λογίζεται ως εύκολη ή κατάλληλη για αρχάριους. Το πρώτο μισό της διαδρομής έχει ανοδική κλίση, ή όποια σε διάφορα σημεία αυξομειώνεται. Το δεύτερο μισό έχει και κάποια σημεία με έντονη καθοδική κλίση. The Fellowship of the Star Schema: Transforming OLTP Data for Power BI One does not simply build reports on OLTP data. Join us on an epic journey from the depths of raw, normalized tables to the shining halls of a well-modeled star schema fit for Power BI greatness. We will demystify the differences between OLTP and OLAP, walk through star schema vs snowflake (and why Power BI has a clear favorite), and show you the compression differences between normalized and columnar storage that will make you never look at an OLTP model the same way again. We will cover the different types of dimensions, when to use them, and how to handle Slowly Changing Dimensions without losing your mind. You will leave knowing exactly how to identify a bad model, how to convert OLTP data into a clean star schema, and how to forge relationships that rule them all.
