Whether you're a seasoned speaker or just starting, our diverse group of members will provide a supportive environment for you to improve your communication skills. Come share your stories, practice your speeches, and meet new friends in a safe and inclusive space. Don't miss out on this opportunity to grow personally and professionally. See you there! At each meeting, we have speakers present a 5- to 7-minute prepared speech, followed by an opportunity for members and guests to participate in presenting an impromptu 2-minute speech, delivering a joke or quote, or getting involved in other ways. The meeting agenda is structured by a Rainbow Toastmaster, who provides a meeting theme, along with some roles (such as a joke or a quote) that follow from the chosen theme. We start promptly at 7:00 pm, so arriving between 6:30 and 6:45 would be appreciated. Guests are welcome to participate when comfortable.

Only Japanese native speakers will be OPTED to change area / tables at 45m into the event and also at 90m, in which they can participate at whichever table they desire. Total event duration 2H 15m. ~Seating arrangement template is as follows A: Nihongo focus. Practice your Japanese! Only sit at this table if you have high language competency and able to almost fully communicate in Japanese. (Language Ratio approximation. Japanese %80 / English %20 B. Mixed social. At 6 pm, we will meet at the Duke of York, to enjoy some of the items on their FIFA inspired menu. This group is for badminton enthusiasts who are passionate about exploring the connections between metabolism, energy, and exercise. We are welcome beginner plus, intermediate and advance level players looking to improve your skill or a seasoned player seeking to optimize your performance on the court, this group is for you! Join us for friendly games. This badminton session is a weekly event and it is followed with dinner together but it is optional. ATTENTION: Due to many first timers signed up the event but no show, I have no choice to charge the first timers $10 per person as deposit via etransfer to me no later then Friday night. There is no refund for no show. If you show up, then I will etransfer the balance back to you at the end of the badminton event. Let's start the Summer right with our 2nd Annual Glamping trip in Algonquin Park.** **Join WOOT for a glamping and outdoors weekend!** **Camping does not have to mean lying on a tent floor in a small tent. We’ll sleep in cozy Safari tents for this trip, hike to some great views, enjoy water activities, enjoy campfires, stargazing, and eating together!** **📅 Trip Details** * **When: Depart Friday preferably no later than 5pm and return Sunday (2 nights)** * **Where: Group Glamping campsite just minutes from Algonquin Park** * **Accommodation: 2 Large Safari Tents hold 6 people each, 3 Safari tents hold 4 people each. Each person has their own bed or a thick pullout mattress.** * **Amenities: Tents have solar lighting, and USB charging (but bring a battery pack!). Large BBQ area with propane, picnic tables, campfire pit with firewood included. Comfort station with showers/toilets nearby.
