The Castle is the Smithsonian’s first home and its symbolic heart. Located on the south side of the National Mall in downtown Washington, D.C., the building today symbolizes the Smithsonian and is its most recognized, built artifact on the Mall. The Castle closed February 1, 2023, for its first major renovation in more than 50 years. All elements of the building are undergoing extensive **[renovation](https://castle%20renovation/)**—with a pause in renovation for the nation's 250th anniversary summer 2026 Lets start our first event with a simple, yet iconic, trip of getting to actually look into the castle. Please sign up if you're planning to attend with us, most museums have limits to group sizes.

This class is a perfect stepping stone from our flagship My Body Don't Bend That Way classes to traditional Vinyasa and Flow classes. The pace is slow allowing for plenty of time to get a feel for the postures and the proper alignment and modifications for your body. But don't let the slow word fool you! Free Argentine Tango fundamentals classes weekly for OneLife McLean (Regency) members in McLean Virginia! Nonmembers may pay for the health club entrance at the door ($30) and use the club for the day, which includes the dance classes, use of the pool, weights, tennis, etc . . We meet on Sundays at 8 a.m. for training runs on some of DC's best trails, including Rock Creek Park and the surrounding area. We typically meet at either Peirce Mill in Rock Creek Park, or Roosevelt Island, depending on the route.
