The evening consists of a 50 minute booster draft. After that, you will be paired up and play 3 rounds of Swiss and prizing is distributed to players with a positive record. To participate in the event, alongside your **ticket purchase [here](https://www.thebrotherhoodgames.co.uk/magic-the-gathering-events)**, you will be asked to register on the Magic Companion app. We use this app for our tournament. If you are unfamiliar, please ask our member of staff upon arrival to the store where a member of staff will be happy to assist. **How to draft**: First, players sit around a table in a semi-circle. Each player then opens a booster pack and picks a single card without showing the other players. Each player then passes the remaining cards to the left, and continues drafting from the new cards they get from the player on their right. This continues until all of the cards in those packs have been distributed (drafted). Then each player opens a second pack, but this time, pass the pack to the right. After all those cards are drafted, you do the same with the third pack, passing to the left again. At the end, each player will have about 45 cards (along with any number of basic lands) which they can use to build a 40 card deck. Welcome to *My Kind of Meeples*! Feel free to RSVP and join us for an evening of board gaming fun. Arrive from **6:30pm** for a relaxed chat and a chance to get to know everyone. If you’re new, please introduce yourself to one of the hosts — they’ll be happy to welcome you and help you settle in. At **7:00pm**, we’ll begin with our first game, selecting games for the night. Anyone who has brought games with them is invited to offer them up with a brief overview and an indication of the difficulty level. You’re free to join any game that interests you, and we’ll make sure everyone has something to play. If a game is new to you, it will always be taught beforehand, with a quick refresher for returning players if needed. We play a wide range of games, typically lasting between **1 and 3 hours**. Multiple games run at the same time, and there’s usually at least one beginner-friendly option as well as a more advanced game available each evening. The night usually runs until closing time (around **11:00pm**), and depending on the games you choose, you may even fit in more than one game. If you’re able, we kindly ask that you support the venue by purchasing from the bar, as the pub generously hosts us. We look forward to welcoming you to the group!

Valentine’s weekend doesn’t have to be about candles and prix-fixe menus. This is a **free, beginner-friendly outdoor calisthenics session** for anyone who wants to move their body, reset a bit, and start the week feeling better — whether you’re single, coupled, or just over Valentine’s entirely. No gym experience or calisthenics background needed. **What we’ll do:** * Learn basic calisthenics movements * Push-up & pull-up progressions * Joint prep & mobility * A simple, structured workout you can actually repeat **Who this is for:** * Beginners to intermediate fitness levels * Professionals in their 20s–30s * People bored of gyms or random workouts **After the session:** Anyone who wants to is welcome to join JP and the group for a **casual coffee or brunch at a nearby café**. Meeting Room 3B, Main Library Join us for a welcoming evening of reflection, gentle music, and meaningful conversation. We’ll begin with a short grounding moment, followed by a brief reading from spiritual or philosophical traditions, and an open reflection circle where participants can share (or simply listen). Libera Animae is an interfaith community focused on inner growth, creativity, and authentic connection. This first gathering is a simple introduction to the spirit of the group and a chance to meet others seeking deeper meaning and community. All backgrounds are welcome.

Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations. 
We started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that. We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus. 
Feel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn. 
Here are just a few examples of the kind of games we play. 
Tabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 Wonders… 
Social deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, Werewords… 
IMPORTANT: 
1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for. 
2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you haven’t come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.

Register & Pay at the desk when you arrive. $5 day pass is available for first time players. I have some extra pickle ball paddles and balls if you don’t have one.
