The Go Academy Social Go Club is located at The Go Academy Punggol Centre Punggol Coast Mall, Tower 98, 98 Punggol Way, #01-224, Singapore 829857 **Event will happen by default. Usually we have 5 - 10 regular players every week. (They are not on meetup so you won't see the attendee count reflected here) So just come down! If you can't find us, text us at 9199 0946** When you have reached, the person in charge (likely Shaun) will arrange a player of your skill level for you to play with. If you haven't played in a long while or are just started learning for awhile, don't worry as there are other beginners and you will be able to play with handicaps. Most players start streaming in at 7PM onwards but it's ok to be early or later, whichever is more convenient to your timing. You are free to arrive at any time and leave at any time. Most serious players will play and review their games until 10PM and you are encouraged to do so. If you require a review of your game, you may politely request it from your opponent. We are all here to socialise and build a community around this game. There may be instances where there is a low visitor count. In such a case, Shaun will play a game with your personally or arrange an AI opponent so not to worry about a wasted trip. Please note that this is not a class for learning how to play. From Fort to Faith\*\*: A journey through Singapore’s church history and living witness. This walk begins at \*\* Fort Canning\*\*, where colonial power once sat at the center of early Singapore, and follows a path through some of the city’s historic churches before ending at a welcoming community space for shared reflection. From Fort Canning, the route moves to the \*\*Armenian Apostolic Church\*\*, a reminder of the small but influential migrant communities that helped shape colonial Singapore. It then continues to the \*\*Cathedral of the Good Shepherd\*\*, one of the oldest Catholic churches in the country, before heading to the \*\*Church of Saints Peter and Paul at Queen Street\*\*, which reflects the growth of diverse Catholic communities in the city. The walk concludes at *Crossing Café* at the \*\*Catholic Centre, Waterloo Street\*\*, as a final stop to support special need cafe, participants can also sit down over a meal and reflect together on the journey—from colonial power and early church foundations to the continuing work of community, inclusion, and care in Singapore today. We are also privileged to be guided by docent Jeremy Gwee with a passionate interest for interpreting places, people, and faith in meaningful ways, from whom we have already enjoyed and learned much during his last guided tour of St Andrew’s Cathedral. **Please read this:** #1 – Attendance.
