The meetup is a joint event hosted in association with Dubliners: Joys of Reading** The last meetup of the year is different! Bring a book wrapped in a gift cover(used or new book) or newspaper and discuss with the fellow book lovers about the theme of the book. Exchange the gift! You are allowed to share the theme of the book who likes it, then exchange the gift with the attendee. Then socialize! It's a perfect place to surprise fellow book lovers.

Our venue has no step access and a disabled bathroom for our guests, all on the one floor. **WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?** Grout and glue can be messy so avoid white clothes and get ready to roll up your sleeves. Dark clothing is advisable if you are going anywhere afterwards and make sure to wipe any glue off with water then machine wash :) **I HAVE A YOUNG CHILD OR TEENAGER CAN I BRING THEM?** Unfortunately not, we do not host events for children this space is for 18+ we want to create a place where adults can behave like children and get creative. **CAN WE LEAVE OUR PIECES THERE?** We don't have capacity to keep the pots as our studio is open 7 days a week we give everyone a bag to put their masterpieces in. **THE EVENT SAYS SOLDOUT, CAN MY FRIEND COME?** Unfortunately not, if an event is soldout it means there are no seats left. **I'M GOING TO BE LATE, CAN I STILL COME?** Yes, we don't usually start exactly on time. Due to a large volume of people arriving at once it usually starts atleast 10 minutes after the time on the event. If you're really late just come in and don't worry!

**++Looking for new players++** We play a 6v6 outdoor game every Wednesday @ 8:00PM in SportsCo, Dublin 4. The pitch we use has been recently refurbished with plenty of space to move around (*bibs provided*). To encourage passing and flowing football, goals can only be scored from inside the penalty area. Games are played in a friendly atmosphere and slide tackles are prohibited. We generally don't have stick keepers and use a last-man back policy. There is a core group of regular players who have played with us for years but we also need a handful of pickup players (men) every week. If pickup players like the vibe they have the option to subscribe on a longer-term basis... usually €60-€70 per quarter. This game has been running on the same pitch for over a decade. The games are good quality with good technical players and played in a nice, competitive atmosphere.

Join the group for coffee, a chat and bring your project upstairs in Starbucks on Westmoreland Street from 12-2.30pm (or sometimes longer!). There is a lift for those with mobility issues but please check with staff if it's working. Our January program is privileged to have Kristen Tregar as our speaker. Ms. Tregar is the co-author with John de Lancie (the actor who portrayed the character Q on Star Trek next generation) of a radio play depicting the events surrounding the Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District trial. The trial decided the issue of some of the Dover school district board members attempting to insert creationism disguised as "intelligent design" into the 9th grade biology curriculum. She will discuss the trial and the process of writing the play. (Bob Leonhard has seen the play and it is riveting and tense). Ms. Tregar's bio is below: Kristen Tregar is a dramaturg, director, playwright, and theatre teacher. She earned her Ph.D. in Drama and Theatre from the UC San Diego and UC Irvine joint program. In addition, she has a MS in Forensic Science from City University of New York- John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a MA in Educational Theatre from New York University- Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. In 2013, in collaboration with Irish colleagues, she founded *The Ireland Project*, an intercontinental devised theatre work with high school students in New York and Tallaght, Ireland. Her original short story "Far From Here" was recently published in *Stay Awhile Longer: More Scenes From Temecula Valley*. She has two rescued dogs (Kira and Harry) and she rides, competes, and foxhunts with her horses, Andromache and Baker Street Irregular. Food and drinks will be provided at the event.
