Open Doors evening
Come to check out our hackerspace, talk to people and learn some new things, maybe use the tools for a short while, or just sit down with a laptop and do some work in a quiet place. Also a good time to sign up for a membership!
We will have tea and coffee, likely also cookies. Come whenever from 19:00 till 22:00 - we might even be open until 24:00! If there's a problem (i.e. doors not open), call 28701072.
Get-together with home made waffles
On March 17 at 18:00, there will be a home get-together, freshly baked waffles and conversation. You can **bring board games, cards, your own drinks, etc.** The more entertainment options, the better. You can come after 18:00; we'll still be there ;)
The event will take place in a private apartment, when you arrive, the host (Oskars) will meet you outside.

***The event is donation-based.**

Is there parking place ?
Yes, there is, on the main street. But it's easier to get there by public transport (15 trolleybus). The bus stop is very close.
Appreciation of Ramanujan's Mathematics
I had to change this event from "Appreciation of Ramanujan's Mathematics". Instead, we will just gather and solve undergraduate level math problems which I can share. Sorry for the disappointmet and inconvenience! The title of the event cannot be changed and so will just stay as it was.
**I will decide the venue (including whether to hold it in-person or online) closer to the event day. Please RSVP if you are interested in coming.**
Speed dating event
I am thinking of doing a speed dating event in Riga, prefarably for people interested in math and/or spirituality, but anyone above 20 years old may come.
Please RSVP if you are interested in coming so that I know whether to hold the event and provide more details.

Let's try a Friday Night Fish Fry!
We thought of one of the interesting things that can be enjoyed at this time of the year. We will be meeting at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for a "Fish Fry" in Marian Hall on Friday, March 27th at 5:00 PM.
It might be fun for you to experience what has become a tradition on the Fridays before Easter. They will have fried fish or baked fish, French fries and Cole slaw, as well as beverages, all for $16.00 for adults. They will have other beverages and desserts available for sale, as well. We have never tried this, and sometimes there are quite a few people at these events so we hope that we will be able to find each other easily. I'll try to have signs outside Marian Hall that Identify our group. We hope to have you join us!
