If you’ve got a story or just an idea in mind, come to one of our pitch workshops at the beginning of April. If your story is shortlisted for the show, our host will work with you as you polish and rehearse it. 📌 Story Requirements: * Your story must be true * It must be told in the first person—you are the main character * It should be between 5-10 minutes You don't need to have a completed or polished story ready - just a beginning idea is okay. The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change.
