FULL - Activate: Live Challenge Arena | London 20s and 30s
**We don’t do boring Wednesdays... and so on 4th March, to spice up your midweek, we’ll be heading to Vauxhall for an adrenaline-fuelled evening of social fun.** Yep and for this one, we're off to **[Activate](https://playactivate.com/how-it-works)** \- one of London’s most exciting new venues\, packed with high\-energy games and immersive team challenges\. To kick things off, we’ll meet at a nearby pub so you can grab a drink, get to know your fellow competitors before the main event of the evening. Inside the venue, you’ll find 9 high-tech game rooms, each offering a **range of games and challenges** designed to test your speed, skill, memory, strategy and teamwork. You’ll be grouped into teams of 4, and in each game room, you’ll have the option to work together to beat the challenge or go head-to-head against your teammates to see who comes out on top. Your electronic wristband tracks your score throughout the session - both your personal tally and your team’s total, and your points can even be redeemed for prizes. For each game, there are also a range of levels to test yourselves against and you can replay any you enjoyed, or want to try again. And best all, whilst an evening at Activate could typically cost you £25pp... we've managed to secure an exclusive discount - **so this whole evening is just £14.95pp!** It should be a great evening night of fast-paced fun - but as always, **spots are limited**, so grab yours while you can! **\- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \-** **WHERE/WHEN** We will be starting the evening at a nearby pub at **7:30pm** to give you a chance to meet and with your fellow 20s and 30s. However we'd kindly ask you arrive **no later than 7:55pm,** so that we can head over to the venue together and get checked in, ahead of the experience. **Meet Point -** The Riverside, House, 5 Saint George Wharf Hamilton, London SW8 2LE ([https://maps.app.goo.gl/WbQXsupv7DTypKcT8](https://maps.app.goo.gl/WbQXsupv7DTypKcT8)) **Closest Tube stations**: Vauxhall (5 min walk), Pimlico (15 min walk) **Start Time:** 7:30 PM **End Time:** 10:00 PM \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- **JOIN THE COMMUNITY** Set up in November 2021, the project was set up to help 20s and 30s in London meet, connect and hopefully build lifelong friendships. To help make this happen, we also host all kinds of events from free social walks, games evenings, day trips, social events, activity nights to picnics. Chiltern Way Section 8 - Ewelme to Stokenchurch
Chiltern Way Section 8 - Ewelme to Stokenchurch
**Start time**: 10:00 **Estimated finish**: 17:00 **Difficulty**: Moderate/Strenuous **Ascent**: 650m / 2133ft **Distance**: 12.5m / 20.1km **Led by** Beth (07956242703) Are you ready to explore the breathtaking beauty of the Chilterns? Join us as we walk the Chiltern Way in stages, discovering picturesque landscapes, charming villages, and hidden gems along the way. This long-distance trail, covering approximately 177 miles, offers a perfect mix of rolling hills, wooded paths, and open fields. From historical landmarks to cosy pubs, each stage of the Chiltern Way promises new discoveries and delightful experiences. *** **Important:** **as public transport is tricky we will instead meet at the end point in Stokenchurch (car park by the old Kings Arm Hotel, see map pin!) and then organise ourselves into as few cars as possible and drive to the start point at Ewelme Recreation Ground for 10.30. At the end, we'll drive the drivers back to their cars. You can meet us in Ewelme but we cannot guarantee enough spots in cars to get back, though we will of course do our best.** *** A rewarding point-to-point walk through the heart of the Chilterns, linking the historic village of Ewelme with the green at Stokenchurch. At 12.5 miles with around 650 metres of ascent, this is a properly hilly day, with lots of ups and downs rather than long sustained climbs. The route winds through classic Chiltern woodland and open fields, offering plenty of variety and some lovely views. Underfoot conditions can be muddy, particularly if there has been lots of rain just before, so come prepared to get muddy! Boots are preferred if possible and please make sure you bring lots of warm layers and a waterproof. We’ll stop for lunch along the route, so please bring a packed lunch and water for the day. There are no toilets en-route. The walk finishes mid to late afternoon on the green at Stokenchurch, and if there's time on the day we'll stop at the pub in Ibstone Common. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead under close control and are the responsibility of the owner. **Did you know we're on Instagram?** Follow us at ***@ChilternYoungWalkers*** to see pictures from our walks! **Become a full member**: CYW are part of the Ramblers and you may try up to three walks free. When you decide to continue walking with us, please see details at '***Become a member***' to join the Ramblers.
