Come by for an hour of evening writing with fellow creative folks. Everyone works on their own thing, no obligation to share — just show up and make any kind of words happen. If you're spending too much time thinking about writing, join us for an hour of focused writing. I am gauging interest in a new Daggerheart campaign. I am starting out using the Colossus of the Drylands Framework but if it everyone wants to continue it I will merge it with a new homebrew campaign setting. Daggerheart is a very fiction first system but my style is a mix of fiction first and tactical combat. You can RP as much or as little as you feel comfortable with and all players new and experienced are welcome as long as you are 18+. If we continue the campaign you will actively be contributing to the design of the campaign world with your actions and ideas building on the foundation I will design. We will be using Zoom for communication and either DnD Beyond Maps or Fantasy Grounds for dice rolling and maps. We will be playing twice a month based on everyone's schedule but I am looking for 3-5 players ages 18+. The first session will be character creation and if we have time a short intro. Greetings writers! Come down and join your fellow wordsmiths for one hour of uninterrupted writing time in the upper level of the Market District Supermarket in Upper Arlington. The main entrance of the shopping center opens onto stairs/elevator leading up to the 2nd floor cafe section where we will have a table displaying a sign with the Shut Up & Write logo. Writing is largely a solitary craft. Practicing with others in a community setting may be the thing you need to fire your own routine. We’ll meet on Wednesday evenings, starting the clock at 6:30, following a brief period of introductions. This is solid writing time and all inclusive. Any project is acceptable, be it fiction, non -fiction, work or homework assignment. All is welcome and will remain private to you. The market boasts a Starbucks, a full service bar and various affordable food options.
