Join us every Wednesday for a lively evening of Mahjong, popcorn, prosecco, and great company in a beautifully curated space. This meet up is designed for Mahjong lovers who want to play at all levels, socialize, and enjoy a fun midweek outing with others who already know the game. Various playing levels are welcome, but this is not a beginner lesson. Pull up a chair, mix and mingle between rounds, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere centered around tiles, conversation, and community. Whether you come with friends or arrive solo, you’ll find a welcoming table waiting for you. Be sure to bring your 2026 NMJL card.

We have taken more than a year off due to the pandemic. Our old favorite cafe in Bethesda is now closed so lets try the Panera Bread down the street on Wisconsin Ave. Please come and join us for some double deck pinochle, assuming (of course) that you have been inoculated for Covid-19 and you are willing to follow the current guidelines of the business on mask wearing. We will start the first game about 6 pm. We play 300 point games so the second game will likely start just after 7 pm, and we will rotate tables if we have more than 4 players. Card players of all level are welcome. We play primarily 4-handed double deck Pinochle but other variants are have been tried on occasion. Games go from 6 pm until Panera closes, which currently is 9 pm. This event is scheduled to repeat every other Wednesday night. Please don't wait until the last minute to RSVP.

This is an established group with a base of 12 plus weekly attendees. We are inviting new members to come join the fun! No pressure—just good vibes, great company, and plenty of tile-flipping action. Grease Sing-A-Long Rated PG Musical/Comedy 1hr and 45mins \*Wine Night Specials\* The Grease Sing-Along features the classic 1978 movie musical with on-screen lyrics, allowing audiences to sing and dance along to hits like "Summer Nights" and "You're the One That I Want". The plot follows "greaser" Danny Zuko and "good girl" Sandy Olsson, who rekindle their summer romance at Rydell High School but must navigate their clashing social groups.

We play on alternating Wednesdays from 6:30-9:00 at Continues Arcade (and bar and restaurant) in Alexandria. Bring your board or play one of ours. Beginners and the chess-curious welcome.

Join us for our weekly riichi mahjong meetup! It is highly encouraged to make a purchase of food or drink at the Whole Foods while playing there. We play on the second floor of the Whole Foods in a bar area called The High Point, There is parking for $5 on the weekends at The Boro Garage B. Do not use the whole foods parking lot since it gets up to $25.

**FOR BEGINNERS** If you've ever seen Korean movies or shows, you may have seen characters play with small red cards decorated with flowers and animals. Those cards are called "hwatu" or flower cards.
