Join a **beginner-friendly Taijiquan (Tai Chi Chuan) class** focused on health, movement, and steady learning. No prior martial arts experience is required. These are **FREE weekly meetups** covering the fundamentals of **Chen Style Hunyuan Taijiquan**, including basic alignment, breath and intent coordination, and introductory work on **24 & 48 Fist Forms**, **48 Sword Form**, **push-hands**, and **qigong**. Classes include **Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced groups**, suitable for both newcomers and experienced practitioners. Sessions are held weekly, **rain or shine**, unless cancelled in advance, with an emphasis on health, consistency, and supportive community practice.

**For ages 8 and above.** All classes are taught by Sifu Chua Kah Joo and his instructors. Students will be exposed to both the traditional and modern aspects of Wing Chun Kuen training. They can expect to learn the forms (empty hand, wooden dummy, and weapons) and be guided to focus on structure, sensitivity, coordination, and agility. Sifu Chua will pick one technique inside the form to explain the practicality and the scientific concept behind it to students in every class. Sifu Chua will also display the execution of Wing Chun Kuen, together with the psychology involved in specified self-defense and combat scenarios. ​All classes start with warming-up exercises like stretching and joint mobility exercises to improve students' flexibility and muscle strength. **For ages 4 and above.** These Multi - Jutsu classes cover the following: **Weapons** Students will be introduced to different weapons movements and learn to use weapons for both attacks and defenses. **Strikes** Punches, kicks, chops, and attacks will be given more attention to building the foundation for the students to learn defensive movements. **Freestyles** Students will learn to be aware of the surroundings and build their basic movements to execute defense against attack from various positions. Students will also be taught variations to the technique to be able to use them in any situation. **Grappling** In reference to other Martial Arts like Judo, Jiu-Jitsu & Karate, students will learn to counter grappling attacks and situations in various forms and positions. **Takedowns** Students will learn to maneuver a takedown situation. Ground techniques and movements will be introduced to the class. Students learn to eliminate unnecessary physical actions in order to achieve direct and efficient movements including physical strength, awareness, posture, poise, focus, and dignity. These classes focus on weapon practice. Many aikido techniques have their origin in weapons handling and thus are related with Japanese weapon arts like Kendo. Using a weapon as an extension of the hand, it generates higher impact speed and creates different danger and distance perception. On the other side, perfection of cuts and draws is a very meditational and focused practice. Despite danger, the mind should stay clear and movements should be very precise. As a result of weapons training, students polish their hands and body technique – with more precise movement, coordination and martial awareness.
