We sing every week, starting at 7! You don’t need anything - we’ve got materials, tea and a great room to sing in. We start downstairs at 7 so it’s great if you can be 5 minutes early or so. Message us here if there’s any problem! Shapenote singing is traditional 4-part harmony singing, all acapella. It's loud, beautiful and completely open to beginners. It's great if you have experience but shapenote is an inclusive space - if you want to learn to be more musical and sing together with people, you're welcome. Shapenote is strictly inclusive - we will not tolerate any discrimination or harassment towards any other members.

Barcelona's newest improv adventure starts now. Every week, Matt and Noah will host an evening of improv fun and games at Flaherty's in the Gothic Quarter. The evening begins at 19:30 where participants will meet, sign in, and grab a beverage. At 20:00, we will have a focused, 1-hour workshop set at an intermediate level to work on one aspect of improvisation (e.g. characters, cooperation, physicality). We'll then have a short break for bathrooms, food, and/or beverages followed by an improv jam at 21:15. No experience is necessary to play in the jam and it's okay to just watch. Come for the workshop or the jam, all are welcome on this island of misfit toys. Both events are donation based.

You can come one, two, three, or every day. Up to 25 rehearsals per week! Flat price: €45 per month. You can join any day of the month; you only pay the proportional part. Each rehearsal begins with a warm-up, then we work on vocal technique and finally repertoire. We usually start with new repertoire, and the end of the rehearsal is for reviewing and leaving with high energy. The first rehearsal is FREE. After that, you choose how many days you want to come. The Unity of Columbus Resource Group for the Homeless is seeking compassionate volunteers who would like to help serve and uplift members of our homeless community. This group is dedicated to sharing kindness, resources, and support with individuals who may be experiencing difficult circumstances. Anyone with a heart for service is welcome to join us as we work together to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Community members are also invited to contribute by bringing helpful items for those in need. Donations of items can be contributed at the meeting and will be distributed to assist members of the homeless community.
