Church on Sunday (Worship in English)
Church on Sunday (Worship in English)
**Join Us for Sunday Worship at the American Church in Berlin!** The American Church in Berlin (ACB) is an **ecumenical Protestant congregation** where people from *many* Christian traditions worship together—Lutheran, Reformed/Presbyterian, Anglican/Episcopal, Methodist, Baptist, non-denominational, Roman Catholic, and even a few Eastern Orthodox members. Wherever you come from, you’ll find a place where you can feel at home. Our worship is **traditional and liturgical**, rooted in the rich patterns of the Christian church and easy for both Protestants and Roman Catholics to enjoy. We celebrate **Holy Communion every Sunday and every festival day**, and all baptized Christians are welcome at the Lord’s Table. ACB is an **extraordinarily diverse congregation**, with members from around the world. On any given Sunday you’ll find long-time Berlin residents, young adults, teenagers who attend on their own, families with children, seniors, and many visitors and tourists passing through the city. Our community is known for its **warm and friendly fellowship**—it’s one of the things people talk about most after visiting. Some folks dress formally and others show up in jeans and sneakers; we sit side by side without judgment. **Come exactly as you are.** Most importantly: **our welcome is for everybody—EVERYBODY.** If you’re looking for a church home, a place to pray, just looking to connect, or simply a peaceful hour of worship during your travels, you’re invited. We’d love to welcome you this Sunday! [ACB website](www.americanchurchberlin.de)
Evening of Meditation - Access solutions more easily
Evening of Meditation - Access solutions more easily
*There are always more participants coming as regulars or from other platforms than shown here* \-\-\- We invite you to join our weekly Evenings of Meditation, to gently meet yourself, dissolve stress and live life from beautiful inner states, like calm, joy and connection. These gatherings are not just about meditating on your own, but a step inward we take together. Each time we’ll look into a particular topic in the light of timeless wisdom, reflect on it in a guided meditation, do powerful Oneness practices for greater wellbeing, and experience Deeksha - which helps to speed up your inner growth. **This week's topic: Access solutions more easily** Sometimes, when we face a problem or feel hurt, we tend to analyze it until we become exhausted. There is so much knowledge available that can help, yet for some reason, trying to apply it while in a state of stress often leads to greater disconnection or unsatisfying results. For example, you may say all the psychologically "right" words, yet the wall between you and the other person remains. Let's explore what can help us dissolve conflicts and move into a deeper connection. For more info see: [www.onenessberlin.com](http://www.onenessberlin.com/) 🎟️ **Entry**: € 10 for walk-ins (in cash or PayPal) just for us to pay for the space or **[get a ticket from € 5 >](https://momence.com/l/dah4nwad)** 📍**Where**: Yoga Sky, Am Tempelhofer Berg 7d, 10965 Berlin Follow the Yoga Sky signs in the yard, and take the elevator to the top floor. 🗓 **When**: Sunday, 7th of June, 19:00 - 20:30 Please arrive 5-10 min earlier to settle down. You’re welcome, no matter your background or experience. This is what has worked for us over many years and we love to share it with you. Looking forward to see you, Oneness Berlin Florian & Jazgul

Sunday Morning Pages Brunch
Sunday Morning Pages Brunch
A Sunday morning just for you and your words. We’ll be meeting at the beautiful Kunstraum Heartspace in Prenzlauer Berg – a small group, plenty of peace and quiet, and vegan treats. Here’s what our morning will look like: First, we’ll settle in together with a guided meditation to clear our minds and get us in the mood for writing. Then we’ll dive straight in: a first writing exercise with reflective questions on a shared theme – gratitude, focus, best-case scenarios or a look at our goals. These prompts come from my online course “Journaling for Beginners” and offer you a gentle, structured introduction to writing. Of course, there’s also time for free writing: On your own project, with further writing prompts from me, or simply with whatever’s on your mind at the moment. To finish, anyone who’d like to can read a passage aloud or briefly share what moved them that morning – entirely voluntary, of course. By the way: It doesn’t matter at all whether you’re just starting out or have been writing for a long time. All levels are welcome! **[Get your tickets here.](https://sarahniklowitz.de/sunday-morning-pages-brunch/)**[ ](https://sarahniklowitz.de/sunday-morning-pages-brunch/)

Crossroads: The mundane and The Romantic
Crossroads: The mundane and The Romantic
Beethoven is remembered for his incredible contributions to Western classical music, a music so beautiful that I myself struggle to hold back tears, yet he struggled with landlords, custody over familial relations and women. Ramanujan revolutionised mathematics forever, yet struggled with an incurable disease and downright racism during his time in Cambridge and other so-called "mundane" things of life. Like them, many such great minds in history have their story presented to us with such romanticism that we tend to overlook the fact that they were still humans like us, with simple everyday issues, along with their great work and activities which defined their life and what they are now known for. How shall one find balance between an intellectual activity, a heightened state of mind, thinking across time and the frustrating things like plumbing issues? Hence, for this meetup, the topic is the crossroads between the mundane and the romantic.
