## **Miracles Still Happen: Community Meet & Greet** Welcome to our very first **Miracles Still Happen** meetup! This is a space for believers, dreamers, and anyone who has witnessed the extraordinary in the ordinary to come together, share stories, and build meaningful connections. Whether you have a powerful testimony to share or you’re simply looking for a community that prioritizes hope and faith, you belong here. This is a casual, low-pressure environment designed to turn digital connections into real-life friendships. *** ### **What to Expect** * **Heartfelt Conversation:** A chance to meet like-minded individuals who believe in the power of miracles. * **Story Sharing:** An open (but optional) space to talk about the "miracle moments" in your life. * **Community Building:** Let’s discuss what you’d like to see from this group moving forward! ### **How to Find the Group** I want to make sure no one is wandering around looking for us. To spot our table, just look for the **Miracles Still Happen hat**! I’ll be wearing it prominently so you can easily identify the group and join us.

Austin Texas Divorce & Heartbreak Support
Austin Texas Divorce & Heartbreak Support
Welcome to your Heartbreak/Divorce Recovery Group. We typically have 30 to 50+ participants per meeting, and you are not required to speak unless you feel ready. That said, we do ask that you listen to the opening remarks, which include a short talk and directions on where to access our free website and resource hub. *** 💔 This group is for *anyone* with a broken heart. While many of our members are going through divorce, separation, or the end of a long-term relationship, you do not have to be going through a divorce to join us. If your heart is broken for any reason—loss, betrayal, confusion, or emotional exhaustion—you are welcome here. This is a place for healing, connection, and hope. *** 🧭 If you *are* facing the end of a relationship... Whether you’re navigating a divorce, a difficult separation, or feel your relationship may be heading in that direction, you’ve come to the right place. These meetings offer a powerful kind of support that traditional friendships and family circles often can’t provide. By hearing from others who are walking a similar path, you’ll gain clarity, perspective, and strength. You’ll find yourself beginning to make sense of the chaos and confusion—and slowly, the pain becomes more manageable. *** 🤝 What you can expect from this group: * Support (realizing you are NOT alone in this) * Friendship across all ages and backgrounds * Good times with great people * Shared wisdom and practical advice * Resources – free access to recommended books, therapists, attorneys, and more * Meaningful conversation The meeting on Tuesday is online meetings and open to the entire world, with attendees from across the U.S. and other countries. There is no fee to attend. You are welcome to join at any time and stay for as long as you need. We are not affiliated with any specific organization, and all belief systems and denominations are welcome here. *** *“The sun will rise again, and who knows what the tide may bring.”* — *Cast Away*, Tom Hanks *** Please note: This is not a licensed therapy group. I am not a marriage counselor, psychiatrist, psychologist, or social worker—and neither are our facilitators. However, we can gladly refer you to professionals if you feel that would be helpful. If you’re shy or prefer to connect privately at first, feel free to message me directly through Meetup. I’m happy to point you in the right direction. (www.heartbreaksupport.com)

Bring: A mat; a thick towel, blanket, or rug; and water. Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move in. Wear layers when it's cold so that you can adjust your clothing as you warm up and cool down. Please refrain from wearing perfume and other fragrances. Cost: No charge. Donations are gratefully accepted! Click [here](http://yogameditationgroup.org/donations/) for ways to donate. Location: Yoga Meditation Group, 13740 Research Blvd., Bldg T, Unit 3, Austin, 78750 Yoga Asana is the physical practice of yoga that includes exercises, breathing, and relaxation. The purpose of Yoga Asana isn't fitness. It is, in part, to take care of the body as our vehicle; and although this may include fitness, it should never be defined by it. Yoga Asana practice gives us the opportunity to become aware of the body and the life force within the body, helping us to experience that we are not the body but rather the eternal being within the body who needs fulfillment on a level that the body cannot satisfy. This experience can then lead us to the deeper yoga practices, which are centered around meditation (the heart of yoga) and spiritual inquiry about our eternal identity and purpose. All of our meditation classes are free and are listed here on Meetup. Let us know if you have any questions. Namaste. NOTE: We do not require masks. We believe it is important to be able to breathe freely while practicing yoga asana and meditation. If you are not comfortable with this, we have links we can send you that may be helpful in practicing at home. YogaMeditationGroup.org info@YogaMeditationGroup.org (512) 774-4964

Columbus: A Study In Psalms--Psalm 3 and 4
Columbus: A Study In Psalms--Psalm 3 and 4
Most people would agree that a great night's sleep is one of the sweetest experiences in life. Crawling into a wonderfully comfortable bed, drifting off to peaceful slumber, and awaking, feeling refreshed, energized, and ready for the day is a gift everyone welcomes. Unfortunately, nights of perfect sleep and restfulness can seem scarce. Particularly, during the truly hard times in life, good sleep can seem an impossibility. The ancient shepherd-crowned-king, David, knew more than the average person about the challenge of getting a good night's sleep in the midst of being falsely maligned, hunted by enemies, and attacked by those who wanted him dead. He understood the terror of running for his life, and having thousands call for his death. What was his answer? Where could a man on the run find peace? What hope was there for a person in such circumstances? David's hope and peace were found in the One Who he knew was Perfect Truth, Justice, Mercy, and Grace, the God Who had delivered His people before and Who would do so again, and again, and again. Because of God's provision David twice details that even in the midst of his enemies, he would "lie down and sleep, and wake again." Psalm 3 and 4 point us to the hope in which those who follow after the Lord can be confident--that from the Lord comes deliverance. Join us at **6:30 pm, Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at True Food Kitchen, Easton Town Center**, and be encouraged from God's Word! Humanist Program: Fighting the Efforts to Insert Religion into Public Education
Humanist Program: Fighting the Efforts to Insert Religion into Public Education
The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk. Our March speakers are Molly Gaines and Zack Parrish, co-organizers of the Secular Education Association: They will share their story of how a small group of Ohio parents grew into a national organization tracking released-time religious instruction and other church–state issues in public schools. The presentation will cover SEA’s early wins and hard lessons, what we’re seeing nationally right now, and how local advocates can play a meaningful role in protecting public education. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of the landscape — and practical ways to get involved. Going forward our meetings will be hybrid.
