2\. Walk along New Punggol Rd/Punggol Rd/Punggol Drive/Punggol East/Punggol Field/Punggol Place/Punggol Central/Punggol Rd/Punggol Drive/Sentul Cres/Sentul Walk/Punggol Way/Punggol Field/Sumang Cresent/Sumang Lane/Sumang Walk/Sumang Link/Punggol Walk/Punggol North Ave/Edgefield Plains/Punggol Central before ending at Punggol MRT\.
The route may be modified during the walk to better suit the group’s pace and fitness levels. The organizers will make adjustments as needed to ensure the walk remains enjoyable and manageable for all participants.
Do drop me a message via whatsapp or via meetup if you will be late.
You may consider the following:
1\. Comfortable Clothing
• Moisture-wicking fabrics: Avoid cotton, as it traps moisture and causes chafing. Instead, choose clothing made from materials like polyester, nylon, or merino wool, which keep you dry.
• Comfortable socks: Opt for moisture-wicking socks with cushioning to reduce the risk of blisters.
2\. Proper Footwear
• Well-fitting shoes: Ensure your shoes are properly broken in and provide enough support, especially if you're walking long distances. Sturdy hiking or walking shoes with good arch support are ideal.
• Blister prevention: Consider blister-resistant socks or pack blister pads to address any discomfort before it becomes a problem.
3\. Hydration
• Water bottle: Stay hydrated throughout the walk to maintain energy levels and prevent dehydration.
4\. Snacks
• Energy bars or trail mix: Portable, nutrient-packed snacks high in carbohydrates and protein—perfect for refueling during breaks.
• Nuts or dried fruit: Easy to carry and great for providing long-lasting energy.
5\. Umbrella
• Umbrella: Bring one in case of rain to stay dry and comfortable\.
6\. Optional Gear
• Tissues or wet wipes: Handy for personal hygiene or cleaning your hands after eating or drinking.
7\. Small Backpack or Waist Pack
• Use a small, comfortable bag to carry your essentials. Ensure it fits snugly and doesn’t rub or chafe over time.

Katong Park to Kallang Wave 🏰👨🔬🌳🛶🌅
Ever walked through a quiet park only to realise you’re standing above a buried British fort—one that’s currently undergoing upgrading and quietly hidden from view? Or passed by a historic bungalow that commemorates Albert Einstein’s visit to Singapore, marking his meeting with a Jewish philanthropist that helped shape the future of higher education?
This evening journey begins in a tranquil seaside park where history lies just beneath our feet—though parts of the original fort site are currently closed for enhancement works, we’ll still pass through the area via open paths. From there, we ease into a breezy coastal stretch framed by open skies. As the sun dips, we follow the waterfront along a peaceful bay—often alive with kayaks, dragon boats, and the rhythmic splash of paddles from a nearby water sporting arena.
This is a free community walk, led by volunteers who enjoy the Great Outdoors (GO) and would like to share them with u too! 🤎✌️😃
The route is about 6-8km. Kindly RSVP responsibly to give others a chance to join. The 'going' list may not necessarily follow a strict sequence. 🔄 To protect your privacy, we do not collect telephone numbers 📵. Communication will be through the Event Chat. Kindly check for any updates, especially on the day of the event. The route may be amended or the hike postponed in the event of inclement weather, for the safety of our walkers. 🚶🚶♂️
\*Disclaimer: By joining this walk, you assume responsibility for your own safety and well-being 🚸, and will not hold the organizers/hosts liable for any loss or injury or other unforeseen events, ensuring a shared commitment to a safe and enjoyable experience for all. 😊 Thank you. 🙏

Claude Code with Unity
A session on using Claude Code, Anthropic's AI coding agent, in real Unity development. We'll cover what coding agents are, where Claude Code fits, and how to apply it to an actual game project.
The format is presentation-style, with live demos and time for questions throughout. After brief scene-setting on coding agents and what makes Claude Code distinct, we'll go problem-driven: demoing it live on a released Unity game and introducing each feature as a solution to a problem we hit.
What to Expect:
* An intro to coding agents and where Claude Code fits
* A live demo on a real Unity project
* Key features as solutions to real problems: 𝖢𝖫𝖠𝖴𝖣𝖤.𝗆𝖽, context management, hooks, skills, subagents, and MCP
* Unity-specific pain points, including Domain Reload and MCP caveats
* Putting it together
All experience levels welcome. Food and drinks provided.
*Note: meetup topics may change — check back for the latest details.*
