Pints & Trad Music at The Cobblestone
Pints & Trad Music at The Cobblestone
Looking for an authentic Dublin night out? This Saturday, NomadÉire is heading to The Cobblestone for an evening of pints, conversation, and some of the finest traditional Irish music you'll find anywhere in Ireland. Whether you're new to Dublin, visiting Ireland, or have lived here for years, The Cobblestone offers a uniquely Irish experience. Tucked away in Smithfield, it has become one of the city's most beloved homes for traditional music, where musicians gather to play live sessions in an atmosphere that feels authentic, welcoming, and completely unpretentious. Whether you are a digital nomad, remote professional, entrepreneur, creative, founder, traveler, or local, come join us. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, connect with fellow members of the NomadÉire community, and experience one of Dublin's cultural institutions together. What to expect: • Live traditional Irish music throughout the evening. • Great conversations with fellow NomadÉire members. • A welcoming atmosphere perfect for meeting new people. • Plenty of pints, stories, and Irish culture. • A relaxed Saturday night with locals, internationals, and music lovers alike. We'll meet at The Cobblestone at 7:00 PM on Saturday evening. Arrive whenever you can, grab a pint, and look for the NomadÉire group. Come alone or bring a friend. Either way, you'll be warmly welcomed and quickly introduced to the group. Some of the best nights in Dublin start with a pint and a tune. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Killiney and Flagstaff Hills walk
Killiney and Flagstaff Hills walk
This coming Sunday (21st June) we're having a walk to Killiney Hill via Flagstaff Hill (also known as Roche's Hill). **Meeting Location** Outside Killiney DART Station - There are two exits from the station onto Station Road. We'll meet at the exit which has a disabled parking space and bicycle stands. There's a train that's due to leave Dublin Connolly at 11:28 which should arrive in Killiney at 12:05. It starts in Malahide at 11:02 and stops at all stations so feel free to get on where you want. **\*\*\* Important, please click on Attend if you wish to join this event \*\*\*** From the meeting point we will walk to Flagstaff Hill with its excellent views over Dublin Bay and the nearest parts of the Dublin Mountains. From there it's a short walk to Killiney Hill with its famous obelisk and pyramid where even better views can be had on a clear day. We will then go past the old signal station and then down to Dalkey village. We'll finish up at Dalkey Station. If it's dry and warm enough, we'll probably have a picnic at some point along the walk so feel free to bring some food and drink. We will finish in Dalkey so we'll probably also visit a café or pub there. We hope to see you there! [Host(s)] Tim (085 718 5658) WhatsApp messages preferred. FAQs 1. Is there a charge for this event? No, this is a free event. Sometimes we have events that involve a visit to a museum or garden with an entrance fee - but this will be clearly marked in the details 2. Is it OK for people on a short visit to Ireland to join this walk? Yes both visitors and residents alike are welcome to join our walks. 3. How easy/difficult is this walk? Most walking groups would classify this as a medium walk, so having a reasonable level of fitness is recommended. Some parts of the walk are quite steep with narrow, uneven paths and the total distance is around 7-8km. 4. Why are there only a limited number of places for this event? To ensure the best possible experience for the people attending it is necessary to limit the numbers, especially as the chosen route may not be straightforward. 5. Why is it necessary to book on this event if you wish to attend? This is because there are only a limited number of spaces (see point above) and to ensure the fairest allocation of spaces, we kindly request everyone to book a place. It's OK to change your mind about coming but please change your RSVP in plenty of time for someone else to take the place if they wish to. PLEASE NOTE: Walking like many outdoor activities carries an element of risk. People who take part in our meet up activities do so at their own risk and are responsible for their own actions and involvement. If you register to join our meet up walks you agree that you wish to take part in the activities knowing these risks. Please wear boots, shoes or runners that you find comfortable, provide suitable support and have good grip as some of the paths may be uneven or steep. In some places there is gorse next to the path, so trousers or leggings are recommended over shorts or skirts. If you have waterproof trousers then feel free to wear them for extra protection. It is also recommended to bring water to avoid dehydration. Bring warm clothes and a waterproof jacket or umbrella in case of inclement weather. Marking the summer solstice
Marking the summer solstice
Let's have a swim together at Seapoint to mark the summer solstice. The weather will be warm, but there may be rain showers. High tide is at 17.53 so there will be plenty of water at the steps. I will be at the lifeguards centre at 3pm and I will wait 10 mins and then go in. None of us is a lifeguard so everyone swims or dips at their own risk. Bring a hot drink to warm up, if you like. It's always a good idea. See you on Sunday

Free in Person Meeting - Get Over Losses and Betrayls
Free in Person Meeting - Get Over Losses and Betrayls
Do you want more motivation and confidence to build Lasting Relationships? This is a free, in-person meeting on the subject of betrayals, losses and how to get over them so you can build lasting relationships. Are you burdened by a stressful relationship? Unhealthy relationships can trigger feelings of anger, despair or self-doubt. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to “pin the blame” on someone or something. If you don’t find the RIGHT reasons, or select the correct sources of the problem, the problem can just get worse and worse. Whether in love or personal ties, with friends or at work, our life really IS affected by the quality of our relationships. Good ones can promote pleasure and survival, while less optimum ones can lead to annoyance, anger, self-doubt, stress, or even affect our health and ability to survive well. Whether you are suffering from a divorce, or a painful break-up, don’t know who to trust (or who to CHOOSE) as a partner, friend, boss or employee - the anxiety of relationship troubles can really make a mess of things. Maybe you’ve suffered a betrayal, or are dealing with hostility or criticalness or invalidation. Dwindling relationships can involve destructive behavior, where we hurt those we love, or start succumbing to self-destructive thoughts, attitudes or behaviors that spiral out of control and affect much more than our immediate relationship. Past losses in love or life can affect how we act or react to new people and situations and hold us back from even starting to create new, possibly great relationships! How can one get back onto a saner course of action? Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life: human relationships! Break free from self imposed limitations Here we will discuss: • How to “erase” the trauma of past hurts and betrayals so that one isn’t always repeating past mistakes. • Why and how do the negative emotions of others affect you? • Why is my partner withdrawing and what can I do about it? • Why do we sometimes feel compelled to hurt the ones we love? • Fights & arguments - what's really behind them? • What underlies “corrosive criticism” or the need to invalidate self or others? • How one can stably change one’s outlook on life so they can affect positive change? • Where do compulsive destructive behaviors come from and what can be done about them? • How to form closer bonds & keep growing the relationships with the people you care about? • How to enhance one’s own ability to survive and create positive healthy relationships whether in love, family & friendships or in work, business or one’s career? Relationships can be hard and life itself IS challenging. Why not arm yourself with the knowledge and breakthroughs that have been made about the mind, mental reactions & interpersonal relationships, so that one has better awareness and control over themselves and life in general. Learn where painful experiences are “stored” and how they can unknowingly affect us. You will also find out how one can “erase” those past painful experiences so that one is free to move forward without being tripped up by the past. Learn too, about what can lead some people to become “toxic” personalities and how to identify those traits in others so you won’t be tripped up trusting the wrong person. Our free Meet-ups occur in a safe environment where one can learn, without fear of judgment or criticism, and without the recommendation of harmful mental techniques or therapies, just how YOU can get yourself onto a happier & more successful path: in love & in life. Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there. This class is held at the Dianetics and Scientology Life Improvement Center.
