🎞 Exhibition + Opening Reception — “Faces, Before Forgetting ” 📅 Wednesday 18th Febuary — 7PM-9PM Born in 1990 in Afghanistan and now based in Marseille, Naseer Turkmani is a self-taught photographer, filmmaker, and visual artist whose work explores questions of politics, personal memory, and collective identity. Having trained through workshops in photojournalism, documentary, and contemporary photography in Kabul, his work has been exhibited both in Afghanistan and internationally — from New York, Switzerland, the UAE, and Tehran to Paris, London, and the Aubrac Photo Festival 2022. He has also held two solo exhibitions at the French Cultural Institute in Kabul and taught at Kabul University’s Faculty of Fine Arts. Join us on Wednesday, February 18th at the Dissident Club for a special presentation of Faces, Before Forgetting — an evocative exhibition of Naseer Turkmani’s photography. Experience an evening of intimate, powerful, and deeply human visual storytelling that lingers long after the images fade. On Saturdays, the lot is typically available starting at 6:00 PM. * **Bike Parking:** For those cycling, there is a bike rack conveniently located at the corner of Cline and Parsons.
