GUITAR PLAYERS: Bring your instrument, and an instrument cable. Recommended: bring your amplifier too. BASS PLAYERS: Bring your instrument. At some sessions there’s a bass amplifier provided by participants. Other times, bass is connected directly to the mixer. Contact us to confirm. Come join me as we venture on a 2nd guided tour of the Crypt of St. Mary's Pro-Cathedral in Dublin. It serves as the burial place for Roman Catholic Archbishops of Dublin, with a history spanning over 100 years. It notably houses the remains of Cardinal Paul Cullen, who died in 1878 and was moved to the Pro-Cathedral following the sale of Clonliffe College in 2021. **Location:** The Pro-Cathedral is located on Marlborough Street in Dublin city centre **Cost:** I will collect €10 per person before the tour. **Meeting:** **Outside its front doors at 1.50pm.** **Time of tour: 2.10pm-3.30pm** While the cathedral was built as a 'temporary' arrangement in 1825, the crypt functions as a permanent resting place for prominent Dublin clergy. Explore Saint Catherine's Park, Lucan. We will be meeting at Connolly Train Station at 11:30AM. (Beside the Pret A Manger). At 11:35AM, we will be walk to the (Intercity Commuter) Maynooth, which is scheduled for 11:47AM. This train goes through 9 train stations (Connolly, Drumcondra, Broombridge, Pelletstown, Ashtown, Navan Road Parkway, Castleknock, Coolmine and Consilla), everyone that is coming, is welcome to get on from any of those stations mentioned. We will arrive at Leixlip Train Station 12:19 (Estimated) When everyone is of the train we will be walking 34 minutes (2.5KM) to the Starting Point of the Walking Loop. The Loop at Saint Catherine's Park is 3.9KM (About 1 Hour and 30 Minutes). This is an old woodland in Ireland, it can be an exotic habitat, while we are walking through the woods we will see beaches, swamps and hills. This park contains one of very few remaining examples of this primative habitat. There are toilet at the beginning of the walking loop. We will be walking through Lucan Demense and Ruins of Saint Catherine's Church. Every event is 5 Euro's, you can pay by using Revolut or Cash, this goes towards my meet-up subsription fee and it takes a alot of time organising these events on meet-up and doing them. On Sunday 19th April we shall have a walk in the Ward River Valley to Swords Castle. **Meeting Location** Swords Express bus stop on Eden Quay which is next to stop 135351 and Meaghers Pub. From O'Connell St head towards the River Liffey and when you get to the river, turn left. The bus stop is a short distance on the left hand side. The Swords Express bus takes Leap Cards (please ensure you have enough credit) and is scheduled to depart at 10:45. If it's easier for you to catch a different bus to the walk's starting point then please let the organisers know. **Route Description** From the meeting point on Eden Quay we will take the Swords Express bus to near the Windmill Lands area of Swords from there we walk through the park and along the Ward River into Swords itself to see the historic round tower of St Columba's Church, the holy well and the lovely Swords Castle. The distance is approximately 5km. There will be time to look round the castle which is free to visit. After maybe a cup of tea or a pint of beer, we will take the bus back into Dublin. Or alternatively if people wish, we could have a further walk to Malahide Station via the lovely Malahide Estuary. This is approximately a further 5.5km. Some paths can be a little muddy, but the chosen route should avoid the worst sections. If it's dry and warm enough, we'll probably have a picnic in the park. There are no shops on the walk, but there are many shops, cafés and pubs in Swords itself. \*\*\* If you wish to wander off during a break then it's probably OK but please agree with the organisers a time you'll return so we're not waiting for you \*\*\* We hope to see you there! Join us as we get together to get together to help those in need at this CMG Gives Back event! We have a great little community of Movie Group friends so rather than see a movie this time, we’ll help “create a better world” by helping serve those in need. Here are complete details and our plan for this event: FAITH MISSION – GRANT KITCHEN: The Faith Mission kitchen and dining room serves residents 3 meals a day, every day of the year. For this event, our group will help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents in the dining room, wash dishes, and clean surfaces. PLAN: We will be preparing / serving / cleaning for BRUNCH from 10:30am to 12:30pm and have space for a total of 7 volunteers. Please arrive at 10:20am and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. LOCATION: Faith Mission – Grant Kitchen is located at 245 N. Grant Ave. Enter the kitchen at Dock 1 (in the back of the building), indicated in the attached map. On-site parking in the adjacent lot and street parking is available in the surrounding area.
