🚀 Rebuild the Stack: Ways of Working in the AI Era
**What it takes to work as a Product Trio in an AI-first world?**
Product Tank Barcelona is back — and this time we're bringing the full squad.
This June, we're co-hosting ProductTank Barcelona at **G2's brand new Barcelona office** for a conversation that's long overdue: what does cross-functional collaboration actually look like when AI changes everything about how we build?
**Three voices. One stage.**
We'll hear from a PM, an Engineer, and a Designer — each sharing their perspective on what it takes to work as a product trio in an AI-first world. No silos. No hand-offs. Just honest lessons from teams doing it in practice.
Together, they'll explore:
* What the "Single Stack Builder" model means in practice
* Why shipping a feature is no longer the goal — driving outcomes is the only measure of success
* How PMs, designers, and engineers prototype together, teach each other, and actually move the needle on OKRs
🎤 **Meet the Speakers**

Watercolour workshop with a professional painter for beginners
We organise a watercolour workshop for beginners;
The teacher is an advanced graphic designer and painter Tiana Diakova, whose works you can check on Instagram: @diakova_art.
The maximum amount of people is 10 so the teacher will be able to guide every person.
The workshop is adapted to a beginner's level (every time people who never painted before are surprised with the result they achieve!) But also the process will be interesting for those who draw or paint already. For architects, designers and illustrators it's a good way to discover a new technique and make new contacts)
All materials are included so there is no need to bring anything.
The process will take 2-2,5 hours.
Important: Your subscription is confirmed after you make a payment following this link: https://mauicowork.com/watercolour-painting-with-tatiana/
Welcome to our evening of creativity in the atmospheric studio with beach vibes:)
21st BcnRust Meetup
We’re thrilled to announce the next edition of the BcnRust Meetup, this time hosted by **[Protofy](https://protofy.xyz/)**!
Join us for an evening exploring two very different but equally ambitious Rust projects: an AI-native virtual machine that rethinks how code is executed, and a distributed task queue built as a hands-on journey into async Rust, concurrency, and fault-tolerant systems. Whether you're interested in language runtimes, AI agents, distributed systems, or simply seeing how Rust enables bold ideas, this meetup is for you.
**Driver: An Agentic VM in Rust** by [Cristian Sánchez](https://www.linkedin.com/in/cr3at0r/)
Most virtual machines are deterministic by design. LLMs break that. But what if AI wasn't an external API on top, but a native execution primitive inside the VM itself?
Driver is a Rust VM where AI is a first-class execution primitive. The stdlib is aware of whether it's being invoked by deterministic bytecode or by an LLM-generated action and behaves accordingly.
We'll cover the practical decisions behind the core VM, and the toolkit around it.
**Aether: Learning Async Rust by building a Distributed Task Queue** by [Arnau Berenguer](https://www.linkedin.com/in/arnau-berenguer-jimenez/)
Building a distributed system is a great way to learn async Rust because you run into all the hard parts for real. In this talk I'll walk through Aether, a personal project of a task queue that lets you submit and run Python scripts on a cluster from a CLI. We'll cover the system architecture, how to handle multiple concurrent tasks sharing state, how to handle loss of connection, and propagating cancellation signals on concurrent tasks over the network. Along the way we'll see the honest lessons learned and what makes async Rust hard but fun.
**Why Attend?**
* Explore advanced Rust applications, from AI-native runtimes to distributed infrastructure.
* Learn practical lessons about virtual machine design, async programming, concurrency, and fault tolerance.
* Discover how experienced Rust developers approach complex systems and architectural trade-offs.
* Connect with Barcelona's Rust community and exchange ideas with fellow engineers, makers, and enthusiasts.
* Get inspired by real-world projects that push Rust beyond the usual web services and CLI tools.
Whether you're a Rust beginner curious about what's possible, or a seasoned developer looking to dive deeper into systems programming, you'll leave with new ideas, technical insights, and plenty to discuss.
Let’s build, learn, and geek out over Rust together! 🦀
**Streaming**: We will stream it via YouTube so you can also subscribe to our [YouTube channel](https://www.youtube.com/@bcnrust) to get notified when we go live.

Beyond the Trip: The Science of Psychedelic Therapy
Psychedelics are everywhere right now. In the news, in Silicon Valley, in your podcast feed. MDMA for treating PTSD. Psilocybin for treating depression. But behind those headlines is a decade of serious clinical research that most people know almost nothing about.
**[Tickets must be purchased in advance via LUMA - from 10 Euros.](https://luma.com/alia1gjy?utm_source=MEETUP)**
What do the trials actually show? What happens inside a therapy session? And why are the results making mainstream psychiatry uncomfortable? Most coverage never gets close to answering any of that — this talk does.
As a psychotherapist and clinical researcher based in Barcelona, Marc Aixala has worked on MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD, participated in the first-ever psilocybin trial for treatment-resistant depression, and spent years running harm reduction at Boom Festival's Kosmicare programme.
He has sat with people through some of the most intense psychological experiences a human being can have and built one of the most rigorous practical frameworks for what comes next.
That "what comes next" is called integration. And it turns out it might be the most important part of the whole process.
In this talk Marc breaks down what psychedelic-assisted therapy actually looks like in clinical practice, why the results are forcing mainstream psychiatry to rethink its entire model of trauma and depression, and what the science is teaching us about the mind's capacity to change.
**What we'll cover:**
* What happens inside a psychedelic therapy session — from preparation to integration
* Why the clinical results for PTSD and depression are unlike anything psychiatry has seen before
* What integration therapy is, why most people skip it, and why that matters
* What the Boom Festival harm reduction work taught Marc about the human side of these experiences
* Where the field is heading and what it means for mental health treatment as we know it
***
**About the speaker**
Marc Aixalà is a Telecommunications Engineer and Psychologist with a Master's degree in Integrative Therapy and Strategic Brief Therapy. He is a senior Holotropic Breathwork facilitator and trainer, certified with Grof Transpersonal Training, and the author of Psychedelic Integration: Psychotherapy for Non-Ordinary States.
With extensive experience in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, Marc has worked in clinical applications of psilocybin for depression at Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu Hospital and trained with MAPS in the therapeutic use of MDMA. He served as an integration psychotherapy specialist with ICEERS and co-founded the ICEERS Integration and Support Service. Marc has also contributed to psychological emergency services through Kosmicare, working as a volunteer, team leader, and trainer.
Currently, he is actively involved in clinical trials with psilocybin and is deeply committed to mentoring and training the next generation of psychedelic therapists. As a teacher, he created the ICEERS Integration Training and collaborates with various training programs for psychedelic therapy and integration, sharing his expertise with professionals who support those navigating non-ordinary states.

18:35 – **The EM as Context Architect** \- Vlad Shuteev\, Engineering Manager at Manychat
Engineering managers don't lose relevance because AI gets smarter — they lose it because context transfer becomes cheaper. In this talk, I share how I built a personal AI system that sees the same inputs I do: Slack channels, meeting transcripts, Notion docs, people profiles. The system learns my patterns over time and surfaces insights before action — not after. Through six concrete principles and real examples, I show what it means to architect context instead of carrying it in your head. And what stays irreversibly human: presence in 1:1s, lead-by-example moments, empathy in hard conversations.
19:00 - **Don't Delegate Understanding,** Pau Ramon, CEO at Ramensoft.
Is this an AI talk or a Leadership talk? There's only one way to know.
19:25 – Closing remarks
19:30 – Networking with Food & Drinks

### **GitOps: Easy Deploy and Even Easier Rollback**
GitOps isn't just for containers. The methodology of deploying from a build is now baked into our culture. Take it a touch farther with infrastructure as code and a few extra techniques, and you can reliably deploy to any platform: cloud, on-prem, container, PaaS, and more. Join us as we learn the methodology of GitOps, the critical pieces you need in place, and the elegance of rollbacks with GitOps. You'll leave with a working repo of deployment techniques that doesn't consume any paid tools or container-specific techniques.
**Important:** To participate fully, please RSVP in **both** places:

We have a speaker each week so that we can learn about their business.
Because we have only one member per business, we have many of the spots filled. However, we are specifically looking for an estate attorney, a handyman/electrician, and an event planner. We have referrals for you!

Claude Code with Unity
A session on using Claude Code, Anthropic's AI coding agent, in real Unity development. We'll cover what coding agents are, where Claude Code fits, and how to apply it to an actual game project.
The format is presentation-style, with live demos and time for questions throughout. After brief scene-setting on coding agents and what makes Claude Code distinct, we'll go problem-driven: demoing it live on a released Unity game and introducing each feature as a solution to a problem we hit.
What to Expect:
* An intro to coding agents and where Claude Code fits
* A live demo on a real Unity project
* Key features as solutions to real problems: 𝖢𝖫𝖠𝖴𝖣𝖤.𝗆𝖽, context management, hooks, skills, subagents, and MCP
* Unity-specific pain points, including Domain Reload and MCP caveats
* Putting it together
All experience levels welcome. Food and drinks provided.
*Note: meetup topics may change — check back for the latest details.*
