Day DJ is a weekly series at Villa Vida Café where local DJs take over the space and share their sound in a daytime setting. The series focuses on new talent, experimentation, and community. It creates a low-pressure environment where DJs can develop ideas, shape their sound, and connect with people through music. The format is intentionally relaxed and accessible. Visitors are welcome to come by to listen, work, meet friends, have coffee, or stay for the entire set. It’s a 20th-century historical fiction story about friendship and war, with coming-of-age elements and a slightly haunted tone.
