Social volleyball session in Putney for mixed players over two hours. Please note this is for intermediate level players and above. We are delighted to be invited back to play at Putney High School again. This session takes place in their amazing sports hall with excellent facilities and high roof. If arriving early, please wait outside the sports hall until the session start time, as it is in use by the school immediately before. Also, food and drink are not permitted in the hall. Come along, have fun, and improve your game! We operate a subsciption model per half term for regular players with non-refundable payment for subscribers up front for six sessions. A few slots are available for other players for £18.00 via Paypal or Revolut (links below). If making new connections on a crazy golf course sounds like your cup of tee, this event will be a hole lot of fun! We’ll gather a group of golf-loving guys and girls for a round of introductions on this creative, London-themed course. Our host will welcome you at 19:30 and introduce you to the other guests. You’ll then have the chance to grab a drink from the bar before we get started (we highly recommend the G & Tees!). Once ready, you’ll be teamed up in mixed groups of six as you hit the course for the first few holes. Midway through, our host will mix up the teams to make sure you get to show off your stylish swing to as many fellow guests as possible. After completing the 9-hole course, we’ll gather in the arcade for some nostalgic games like pinball or Pac-Man. For those handy with a cue, we can pair you up for doubles in a round of pool. It’s all about fun icebreakers in a retro-themed bar to keep the conversations and good times flowing. Drama is ideal for building confidence, helping with articulation and developing presentation skills. ***It is also a lot of fun!*** The classes have built up over the last five years and are run by Mario Renzullo, who was an original member of the famed Anna Scher theatre and made his professional debut in 1970 and went on to have many lead TV, Film and Theatre roles. Mario founded the theatrical agency Smart Management, which has been running for over twenty years. Please join us the 3rd Wednesday of each month to learn more about the Columbus Ski Club and what we have to offer. Pizza, wings and a variety of appetizers provided. We are a non-profit organization founded in 1958 with over 800 members. The club has grown beyond the single mission of providing members with not only quality skiing events but also year round social and sport activities. Our gatherings are an opportunity for members and non-members to interact and learn about the many activities offered such as euchre, billiards, volleyball, pickleball, tennis, bowling, golf & softball leagues along with ski and non-ski trips. Our members also plan group activities such as visits to wine tastings, bike trips, comedy clubs, concerts, plays and local sports games, etc. CSC membership is not required to belong to the Meetup group. Membership is required in order to participate in most club activities (CSC member). However, anyone (21 and over) is welcome at our meeting gatherings which consist of checking out our current activities and socializing.
