Starting time: 19:00 (with food). **Talk - File Uploads and REST** So you have built your fancy JSON REST API, maybe even add a fancy OpenAPI spec of your API. And then you have to add file functionality to your REST API. You will notice that your API is not made for file uploads. What is the proper strategy to handle file uploads in a REST API? This talk is interesting for backend developers and API designers who work with REST APIs and need to support file uploads. If you’ve ever built a clean JSON API and then struggled with adding file upload functionality, this session will give you practical insights and strategies for handling it properly. Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at Factor-ij Amsterdam on Thursday mornings. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. VTAG Volleyball Training for Beginners, Lower, and Intermediate Levels is a VTAG (Volleyball Train & Game) initiative designed specifically with volleyball beginners and lower and intermediate levels in mind. Our trainers will help you develop and improve your volleyball skills with a focus on foundations along with a solid understanding of positions and game rotations. **Here's what to expect from VTAG's beginner session:** * -(10-15) min: early arrival - get changed and ready to play * 10-15 min: group welcome and warm up * 1h 15min: training (defence, setting, attacking, 5-1 rotations etc.) * 20 min: practice game * 10 min: cool down and clean up **This group is for:** 1. Volleyball players who have a basic understanding of the game or have played recreationally (Level Recreational or B - check the guide [HERE](https://grabagame.com/volleyball-skill-levels/)). 2. Volleyball players who are restarting their journey after a long break or injury. 3. Players who don’t yet understand 5-1 or 6-2 rotations and have only played in high school rotations. **Who shouldn’t join?** 1. Complete beginners who have never played volleyball before. This group is not for basic level. => Rotation Style: You will be assigned a team upfront (we anticipiate 6 teams as a minimum, despite what the meet-up ""Attendee Limit"" says). Unless your team agrees otherwise, we play with a basic rotation, so no assigned permanent roles/positions. What does taht mean? * Person middle front is a setter. Setter is responsible for the 2nd ball (always!). * Front right and left are attackers: spike the ball andjump for block when the other team is spiking. * Person middle back row is moved forward, to the centre of the field. This person is responsible for the short balls around 3m line, drops behind the block or balls blocked from own team spike. * Left and right person in the back are responsible for longer balls, balls from spikes, receiving serves etc."
