Warehouse Organizing Work Day
**Join a work party to organize the Velocity Bike Co-op warehouse, usually on the first Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to noon.**
Mike Pattisall, Velocity's business manager, will guide volunteers in improving the space where we work.
You don't need to be there the whole time. Just come when you can, and wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty with bicycle grease.
**Help keep the warehouse organized so there's space to work on bikes on volunteer nights!**
Please note that volunteers under 18 are required to have a parent or guardian attend the beginning of their first volunteering session in order to sign a waiver for them, and volunteers under 16 are required to have a parent or guardian present with them during all the time they spend volunteering at Velocity.

Silver Spring Co-ed Pickup Soccer
Pick-up co-ed soccer Sunday 9:30 AM -11:30 AM. Please join our longstanding soccer game at Indian Spring Terrace Local Park, 9717 Lawndale Dr, Silver Spring, MD 20901-3025. We play on the fields behind the Silver Spring YMCA. There is parking at the back of the YMCA or on Fairway Avenue, which runs by the side of the field that we use.
The games are friendly and as safe as possible (no slide tackling). Ages range from 15 years old to 65. Skill level is average to good.
